You are doing the exact same thing you accuse others of man True! I'm sure there's plenty of different opinions on there too. Just saying there's no specific 'The Media' angle on almost anything, you get different tones and angles from different sources.
-
Pet hate of mine is when someone makes a sweeping statement about 'The Media' having a certain opinion, often it seems they just mean what people hear on talksport or from the likes of Merson.
-
Not that the way he's gone about it has been correct.
-
I think his development will be better aided playing and learning from Aguero and Silva, and regular CL, than with Ings and Henderson mind.
-
Great signing as long as he isn't glued to the wing. Liverpool/Spurs need to do some tremendous business this summer now or it could be quite dull top 4 race this year.
-
A month? That's more than I earn in years Peasant.

That's more than I earn in a month

At his age it was then or never to make it in the big time, would have been an idiot not to go. Didn't work out, but he'd have always looked back and wondered if he'd spent his prime here.
-
So glad we didn't finish 4th that year mind. Was living with a Spurs season ticket holder at the time and I've never seen such despair as when Chelsea won that CL
-
I think if he were 100% honest he'd have liked to have been making these signings before, he just wasn't allowed the funds so thought it more effective to go solely down the youth with great potential route. Now he can do the best of both worlds.

Cech's still great imo, will depend on how well he copes playing with a higher line in front of him but I think that's very good business for Arsenal. Can't think of anyone else (in any position) they could get for £10m that will probably have the same effect on results that Cech will.

I've heard the 'Messi has Aspergers' rumours before, seem to be just pulled out of someone's arse though.
-
Same agent as Mourinho (Falcao). Thing is if he went somewhere and was the main man again I could see him recapturing at least some form even if his Atletico/Porto self is probably gone for good now after the injuries, but I'd be very surprised if he manages that at Chelsea as an obvious second choice in a one striker system. Might even end up 3rd choice behind Remy/Austin if he gets off to a bad start. Kudos to Mourinho if he manages it mind.
-
Not worth the gamble for them at this point considering the ludicrous fee they'd have to pay, nor the right move for him at the moment. Think he's more than just a one season wonder though, even if he might never hit quite the ridiculous run of scoring form he's had again, he'll have a good career.
-
He's an average player (fine in a lower than 13th relegation fighter, ok squad but not starter for anything more) who had a decent season in terms of performances. The level of 'hate' for him is overboard if it's based purely on his performances, rather than the quality of who he replaced, or if you think he represents Ashley's Newcastle manifest and that's his fault so you hate him or whatever. Bet this is one of the most posted in of the players' topics this season. And obviously there's the odd daftie who goes too far the other way ('good enough for anyone outside the top 4').
-
Hopefully will just encourage the pissed off journalists to criticise Ashley and the way we're run as much as possible.
-
The important thing is, unless there's a massive sudden difference in recruitment/cup policy (lerl...) that the Ashley out pressure remains and increases, regardless of how well or badly we're performing. Even if McClaren does end up being terrible, if he isn't backed properly, there's no point focusing the venom on him.

1-2 betters weeping

Best team won, decent final in the end though.
-
HE'S MINE!!!!!
-
So good to watch when he's like this.
-
Yeah I won't hate him personally if he gets it, I'll just be really disappointed (but not surprised) we didn't go for someone more exciting.
-
Will believe it when I see it.
