If Colback had gone off injured for Tiote instead, we'd still have struggled in the same ways as when Anita went off.

In your opinion.

Think we'll struggle from setpieces and crosses all season, however well drilled we get. Janmaat's usually decent in the air for a rb and Mbemba seems to have a good leap, but you wouldn't bet your house on him and Colo against a decent big striker with good supply (which won't be uncommon unless Haidaira can improve or he gets more help than he did today). Colback, Wij, Anita, Aarons and Perez aren't going to be much use coming back to defend free kicks or corners either.
-
It was the right thing to do once he'd got past him.
-
Hughes has done well whenever he's had a small budget. QPR aside obviously, but that club's a bit of a train wreck in general so not sure how much of that was down to mistakes on his part.
-
True, but there's no good reason we couldn't have bought both.
-
this is something that seems to get overlooked at lot colback is a nightmare man, he must be blackmailing someone OTT.
-
He had a decent game before the blocks too. Didn't do anything spectacular but was involved a lot and very rarely lost the ball.

Really doesn't care what society think about his hairdo. I respect that.

Will have the season of his life to secure a new 5 year contract (2 goals, 2 assists).

Their results started to drop off a bit towards the end of last season, hopefully we can be the start of the 'Second Season Syndrome' for Koeman.

I wish they'd ruin my life. Aye

You can't go round picking on freaks regardless.

Not like Messi? Man's a stone cold thug. Watch 'Lionel Messi Best Fights Ever' on Youtube. Needs locking up.

Centre back and/or a really top quality left back plz.
-
I've seen this a couple of times, do people just full on hate the England team and want them to fail now ?
-
The mad part about £40m for Kane is that's about right for the homegrown market right now.
-
Think them and us are two fairly hard to call team in terms of how they'll do this season. What with Pardew's spectacular losing/winning streaks and us being, well, us.
-
He's sucking it in there. Deceitful landwhale.
-
Yep, the only positive is how tough our start is meaning it won't take long for fans to be on his or Ashley's back when the inevitable happens. This should be the focus of any ire if we're awful.

Anyone seen any reliable sources of when Dummett's back? Had a quick Google and couldn't find anything. If Mbemba hits the ground running I'd be happier to see a Dummet Mbemba than an Mbemba Colo at this stage.

And I'm sure he will, think he'll be too good not to play. I'm just saying for the first few games there's a (good) selection headache which means it'll probably be either him or Aarons that misses out on a starting spot. Whether that's right or wrong it's hard to say at this point. Says a lot that we suddenly have 4 very good options competing for 3 spots behind the striker, and most of us (me included) can't seem to wrap our heads around it
