Has changing so much so quickly ever really worked out? Particularly with young players new to the league? It's not even like they had a solid core to add stuff around, feels like elements of every part of the team has new faces from back to front. It's also just the law of averages that at least one of the expensive new lads would be a flop, at least initially. Jury's out on Lampard but he won't be the first manager to fail to integrate a load of new players.

Didn't he deliver the Clark chance against Liverpool? His set pieces are average at best mind.

Deserves to keep the shirt, I think overall Dubs is the better keeper but Darlow is in great form and it's not like Dubs has never made any errors - unfortunately for Darlow he seemed to make quite a few bad ones close together in the championship season and that feeling that a GK is unreliable is hard to shake once it has stuck, but he's done excellently in this period to regain that trust.

Don't think anyone had a bad game individually really, not often you can say that.

Personally think that Joelinton attempt is something that should be encouraged rather than mocked - super difficult to pull off and glad he had the creativity of mind and courage to attempt it!

Think must win is a bit strong, but would certainly be the difference between a comfortable couple of months and an edgy couple.

Think Ayoze was obviously very good for us but just good in relation to the premier league. Useful squad player for a team like Leicester. Would consider about the same level for Almiron, very good for us but maybe not quite good enough to be a permanent first team fixture in one of those teams like Leicester trying to break into the top 4.

Thought he was fine today. Often available for the ball, often moved it on first time or quickly, often got into a decent defensive position and didn't get caught in no man's land or just walked past (ala Shelvey). Absolutely nothing special and never will be mind but he was fine. Can be functional in this kind of set-up and this kind of game.

Yeah I don't know what you could really base saying the league is weaker than usual on. Perhaps West Brom and Fulham are worse than the average promoted team but that's about it.

Law of averages saws one of those Chelsea three should be at least a minor flop. Who's it gonna be?

I can't help but like Joelinton, but Gayle's movement today just highlighted how much we're missing a proper striker who knows where to be and how to make those runs. Gayle's not good enough to be the guy but hopefully we get someone who can do it and has better quality.

Oof had so much luck with the draw so far so we were due a tough one. Even their second string is amazing but alas, you never know!
