  1. they will still have Ings, Ward Prowse, Minamino , Adams and Armstrong, Redmond too so depends what kind of defence they have.. Vestergaard and Walker peters are out
  2. when we dropped in bottom 3 in 2018, the day of Dubravkas debut against man utd..whoever was on early kick off that day overtook us and we dropped into bottom 3. Under Rafa that day there was fight and hunger, was Dubravkas debut and his perfomance set the tone and Ritchie (probably our only player with a bit of fight) got the winner. soon after that we went on a 4 game winning streak - southampton, huddersfield, leicester and arsenal. Under Bruce I cant see us going on a 4 game win streak like that .. from feb to may that year we beat manutd, arsenal, leicester and beat chelsea off the pitch 3-0 on final day ..
  3. if we drop into the bottom 3, i dont see the players having the heart/fight to get out of it
  4. ya we need to stay in touch with Burnley and Brighton, the more teams involved the better
  5. fair play to brighton.. taken 6 points from spurs and liverpool in space of 4 days
  6. only saving grace is that burnley, brighton and fulham all have tough games tonight so our position from the weekend may stay unchanged but ya we could have done ourselves a massive favour last night
  7. Just had a look at the league table from january 2008 when big sam got the sack.. we had 26 points from 21 games.we were sitting 11th in table.. spurs, reading, boro, bolton, birmingham, wigan, sunderland, fulham and derby were below us in the table.. thats 9 teams below us and Ashley decided to make a change and sack big sam .. i dont think we would have got relegated with 9 clubs below us in the league 2020/21 - have played 22 games - we are on 22 points and below us are brighton, fulham, west brom and sheff utd we are in a worse predicament now , and stakes are even higher for Ashley with a takeover in the background.. maybe he is sick of paying compo for managers
  8. he probably is a good man manager.. willocks interview he said him and bruce hit it off over a zoom phonecall and bruce was cracking jokes with him and told willock about his plans for him But hes definitely not a good PL Manager, the stats tell you that.. He certainly isnt a tactician.. Just throwing Gayle , Carroll on last night, no clue whatsoever, just desperation If i was that bad at my job i would be peddled
  9. Even just to watch him on the sideline with his hands in his pockets.. his press conferences / zoom interviews he looks totally fed up or bored If hes a so called fan he should walk away, he doesnt need the money and give someone else a chance
  10. Alex McCarthys confidence is going to be so low after conceding 9 goals.. We should start ASM ,attack from the very start, taking shots and testing McCarthy wtih asm, willock, wilson and fraser no excuses here,. it is a must win

problem with all the nice passing is that its not going anywhere. End of 1st half last night.. there was 2 mins added on.. there was about 40 seconds left of the 2 mins and the players were just casually passing it back and forth and the referee blew his whistle same happened with the Carroll header in the 94th minute, i thought the ball would never be crossed into the box Steve mcManaman even mentioned it on a number of occasions.. we are getting our possession stats up but doing nothing with the ball
  12. Fulham have a tough run of fixtures too.. but with brighton beating spurs, burnley beating liverpool etc anything is possible we really need a performance like Dubravkas debut against Man Utd,or our 3-0 over Chelsea on the final day few years back..the amount of points we have dropped against brighton/sheff utd /leeds is criminal

we need some clarity on the jones/bruce dynamic. Be interesting to see what Bournemouth do with Woodgate. some similarites to our situation.. bring Woodgate in.. Tindall loses a couple. .then sacked, Woodgate takes charge till end of the season
  14. i cannot see us finishing 11 points clear of the relegation zone but would snap your hand off for it right now
  15. can see Fulham getting something from Leicester tonight with Vardy out.. then they have West Ham on saturday then Everton.. results could go either way..with burnley beating liverpool, sheff utd beating man utd and brighton beating spurs we need to pick up something from the big clubs too
  16. jesus, those last 2 games are huge for us
  17. very fine margins though, we shouldnt have to be thinking "If".. Once again we are relying on 3 other teams to be shit in order for us to stay up. How the fuck did Mike Ashley become a millionnaire/billionnaire with the decisions he has made with us the past 14 years
  18. strange decision in bringing in Woodgate few days ago. New manager will want to have his own staff with him
  19. saturday is huge for him.. if we lose i can see him gone as we aint getting nothing from the next 2 matches
  20. fulham will beat leicester too tomorrow.. bringing the gap down to 5 with them having a game in hand, guaranteeed
  21. will be looking over our shoulders again.. thankfully brighton and fulham have tough games tomorrow .

    Jamal Lewis

too slow on the ball, passing backwards and sideways, though same can be said for half a dozen of these players, no urgency at all in them
  23. should have been at least 6 mins added time with the zaha injury.. he milked that.. then 6 subs made
  24. Rhian Brewster on bench again for Sheff utd. They paid 23 million for him and hes only started 8 games for them, strange move for him.. especially with the likes of mcgoldrick and billy sharp starting ahead of him
