really tickled me that (even though the context is horrific). Imagine! He'd be gutted.

Who are Chelsea going to pursue given Costa is off? Wonder if there's a stench of urine drenched gussets in their online haunts?
-
I can think of an auburn-haired (ahem) skilful (ahem, ahem) central midfielder who would be ideal.

Train man. Sign him.

Listen to your inner child JM, come to your spiritual home.

Well said Aaron. I'm certain people who helped were delighted to be of some small assistance.

Puzzled. How does Rafa inferring crazy transfer market (i.e. not Cashley and minion(s) plotting/malicious intent/shortsightedness/bloody mindededness/rank stupidity etc etc) is at least partly responsible for lack of progress, and expressing awareness that fans are frustrated, justify wildfire hysteria that he is about to (contender for most typed word of the Summer, coming-up... drum roll) walk?
-
He bought fresh pasta, these three Italian players might be available for transfer... actually that is possibly the kind of shite they discuss in their editorial meetings.

Rumour re Ndiaye (26), to us or West Ham. He plays attacking (mainly), defensive (25% of time) and centre mid (occasionally) for Osmanlispor. Whoscored.com list his strengths as dribbling and tackling, scored 7 goals, plus few assists. Rated 12 best (all positions) in Turkish league on their stats system (7.2/10 average rating); which if it means anything is probably better than it sounds given he plays for a poor side. Seems an all rounder, but hardly a signing (if it happens) that will get pulses racing.

New balls, please!

Pre-Season 2018/19: Newcastle United 0 - 1 FC Augsburg (FT)

Just got tickets for Verona. £10 and £5 kids ; 27 days wonder how many new players we'll see?? -
Try supporting Leeds, looks like they've gone Lycra.

As in he hasn't 'gone yet', he has just ... [joke, Ian, evidently not a funny one]

This is the fuckwit who had Fenrnado Torres coming in Jan and Joe Hart at Newcastle airport last week.

Does the garden of Rafa's newsagent's best mate's daughter's cousin. Worrying stuff.

Just popped down to Oldham. Their reserves are playing and apparently there's a couple of the players who might be available and actually want to come. ? Happy days are here again, the sky is blue and clear again... ? oh, it isn't and they're aren't.

Would love to know how many options Rafa had and for how many positions. Given how meticulous he seems to be, I'm guessing there would be all kind of permutations on there too. If he had a couple of loans as preference for key positions (e.g. Striker and centre-mid/attacking-mid, let's say Abrahams and Loftus-Cheek) and couple of high price options for other positions (e.g. Cairney) who have now fallen through, I wonder how much mixing and matching he/they are having to do? And how far down the list they will have to go before we get to someone who wants to come and is available at the 'right' price.

have to take it steady though, he's only got little legs. FFS, Charnley man. Just burst out laughing in a meeting! (...as you can guess from fact I was checking N-O, not much to laugh at in the room!)
-
Murphy>Traore for me. But still a little 'meh' for such a key gap on the squad.

Class porn name. Yep, apparently Mount is his mother's maiden name and Mason was his first pet, a Cockatoo. His dad's surname is Thruster, no wonder no changed it

The only embarrassing ones are those, like yourself, that can't abide that someone might hear some snippets from someone but, of course, is unwilling to divulge their source. Jealousy most likely. It's all a matter of perspective, or lack of, but personally showing a 9 year old's level,of reasoning ('jealousy' ffs) and then applauding it, drops into the embarrassing category for me. Kid Icarus whilst obviously influenced by what has gone on previously (and why wouldn't we be) at least promotes keeping an open mind. Skeletor's post above steadfastly ignores the facts of normal June activity (us, others, past, present, Rafa included) and prefers a full on paranoid conclusion. I get that previous transfer windows (some of them) have been soured by what is pretty much universally recognized as a shit business model. There were promises and signs of change last year, more promises this year, personally I am still willing to wait and see. And to be fair, even if I wasn't what good would it do? Getting all angst ridden with unwarranted certainty about what isn't going to happen in the (near) future. What's the point in that?
