No way anyone could claim 7th was dissapointing surely? We were odds on to be relegated less than a year ago. 5th would be a ridiculous achievement never mind 'acceptable'

Trippier is a massive help to him on that right side. Miggy has been alot less wasteful now he always has the safety option of Trippier either on the overlap or behind him.

The main criticism when Howe was appointed seemed to be he couldn't organise a defense as well. It's really impressive when we aren't playing with a proper defensive midfielder and Trippier pretty much operates as a wing back.

With the congested season i can see the points total be lower this year for 7th. Wouldn't say I'm fully confident yet but I don't see a serious challenger amongst the pack around us. West Ham aren't great and have European football to deal with and I don't think Brighton as good as they are will score enough goals. It's there for the taking.

They are hard to breakdown but it looks like they struggle playing against a good press too. They get caught on the ball quite a bit in midfield I've noticed. Think they've generally been quite lucky this season as well so far. Feel like it's either going to be a comfortable win or a really frustrating draw.

Feel like we are never going to get the chance to field our strongest 11 this season.
