But all of those options were available last season (arguably more so with ticket resale having less restrictions) - so I’m struggling to see the issue?
-
So am I missing something - how did those day trippers get tickets?

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

They were when we last played in it. Dortmund will be our Bayer Leverkusen. Two straight wins setting us up for our glorious final game v Milan needing a win to see us through. Scrape a point v PSG in one of the games -

What are the chances of getting a ticket for a home game as a member? Close to zero? -
I think that's part of the reason we wanted Gordon, he can play LW, RW and CF. I think he's already played in those three positions for us.
-
I think Barnes was considered a shoe in but Gordon has started the season brilliantly. It's a nice problem to have.

You know there are large areas of Paris, in particular around the stadium that are indeed absolute dumps and quite unsafe to boot? Milan has fantastic shopping, great food but not much else in the way of nightlife. Have you been to either? -

The area itself is shite but Cologne and Dusseldorf are 30 mins away which are absolutely class -

Without wanting to put a dampener on things, Paris and Milan will be two crap away days outside of the games themselves. Terrible cities for football. Dortmund is so good though -

Only 3 clubs, can't be that hard to qualify. -
Ooooff that's a headshot
-
They've signed less players than us this window.
-
This - absolutely mental takes from some people in here
-
Do you genuinely expect a group of mid 20s professionals not to go out and enjoy themselves in town and just stay in the house for the entirety of their professional career?

Currently having a medical according to SSN.

Sounds like he ran himself into the ground last season and we were lucky he held out until the second last game.
-
Only one more season after this one.
-
And he's barely played in those 7 months. He's now starting games regularly and can be judged accordingly.

You didn't give a 'slight hint that things could be a little better', you said there were 'glaring gaps' in our squad when that clearly isn't the case. It just comes across as hysterical exaggeration and a reason why our fans get so much stick. There's room for improvement at RW and LB no doubt, but you could say that about every team in the league in certain positions. I find it hard to believe people still see Burn as an incapable defender when he was a key part of the best defence in the league last year.
-
Where are these 'glaring gaps in the squad' ffs. It's clearly not at LB because we have three of them with a blend of youth and experience. At RW we have Almiron who came off a brilliant season, Gordon who is looking better and better and Murphy. Glaring gaps
-
No, and pretty much all the experts say that's exactly what you should do if there aren't any glaring problems. On a related note, I can't decide whether to take a four point hit to bring in Salah and a defender at the expense of Rashford and TAA...

It's not robbing a living at all. The club voluntarily offered him a contract and he accepted it. It works both ways. A quick google suggests he's on 60k a week - £3.2 million a year. The idea that just because he is already very well off he should forfeit £6.4 million pounds (obviously he'd be paid at a champ club, but much less), is laughable. You wouldn't do that with your employer so don't expect him to.
-
This. The lad calling him 'shameful' for not voluntarily forfeiting millions of pounds ffs
-
Could someone summarise what the club has changed? I've missed all of the last couple of days
-
Yep it’s working now!
