Again, please clarify how he spat his dummy out? I don’t remember anything of the sort? We’ve already established that wanting to leave to play football doesn’t really count.
-
Again, literally every signing made in the history of time has expressed happiness (real or not) to play for their new club. This is nothing new
-
Can you elaborate? Because plenty of players have gone from Newcastle to Man U and vice versa. I doubt the Man U fans were up in arms at Nicky Butt for daring to come and play for us. Unless you mean the cardinal sin of a player expressing excitement to come and play for his new club, which literally every new signing has done for every new club ever.

I love takes like this. Whenever there is a player who fans want to get rid of who is hanging around (e.g. Sancho or Ryan Fraser in our case), he is castigated for not wanting to play football and only thinking about the money. Whenever it would be better for us to stay as backup but the player wants to leave so he can play first team football (e.g. Dubs), the player is castigated for not wanting to stay and fight for his place

Cheers for that mate.

That would be sensational tbf.

I don't think there's many players in the world that have Joelinton's particular skill set. He'd be incredibly hard to replace.
-
There was also this recently which would have been horrendous if he had made contact: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/13281677/ref-watch-brighton-forward-joao-pedro-astonishingly-escapes-red-card-for-elbow-against-brentford

He obviously wasn't 'shocking' ffs Underwhelming compared to last season due in part to injury/suspension and the fact the year before was so good. We don't have to exaggerate everything to the nth degree on here
-
we signed him for £20m on a five year deal. After one year his book value is now down to £16m. So a sale for £10m now would represent a £6m loss for PSR purposes. What part of that do you think is incorrect?
-
Care to give your reasoning? His current book value is approx 16m.
-
We won't sell Vlach for 10m because that would be regarded as a loss for PSR purposes which would make our situation even worse. He basically has to sit on the books or go out on loan until his book value depreciates more.

You've plucked a number out of thin air for Spurs' third choice full back and got upset when someone called you out on it more like
-
Scott Carson has all of those honours except for the Villa ones...
-
I've paid a lot of attention to Spence - he's had a great breakout season. But he then had a downturn in form again and dropped out the starting 11. To suggest Spurs would ask 60 million for a third choice fullback is insane and suggests that you don't know what you're talking about
-
Not necessarily true given we have CL money next season and they don't - and generally more commercial income.
-
Djed Spence has done nothing for Spurs except for his break out 3 months this season, where he promptly then reverted back to the mean. He doesn't even start for them man There's absolutely no comparison.
-
Been called up for the U21s Euros finals. An odd one but it should be good for him.
-
Agree that he's lost his way and has more to offer. But I have seen zero evidence he is 'much better' talent wise than Elanga.
-
This has absolutely nailed it. Close the thread and stop whinging.
-
I wouldn't want to pay 50m for Elanga, no doubt. But he's quite clearly a better and more developed player than Garnacho?
-
Dan Burn has contributed around 10x as much as Botman since he's been here...
-
Sorry Froggy, you think 60m for Garnacho would NOT be a ridiculous price?!
-
You can't understand why we have retained our fourth choice training goalkeeper? Who else were you expecting us not to retain?
-
Why would you hire an 18 year old to train your senior goalkeepers?
