It would have sounded mad a year ago, but I prefer it if we didn't sign him. As talented as he is, his age and wages tend to lean on not signing him for me. Then again, his experience for a couple of seasons could be invaluable to help push the club forward. I trust Eddie if we did sign him though, it's not as if Lingard's a poor player.

I thought it was jammy, poor defensive error for their goal and Pickford made two superb saves. It was spirited and they harred all game long, which is to their credit. Them beating us and drawing with Leicester means nowt if they lose to Burnley as they did, they are down there for a reason, as we were. And even if you don't think it was jammy, which is fair enough of course. It doesn't change the fact they keep losing to so called lesser teams. Granted their fixtures should keep them up, but as I've said that guarantees nowt, it's why they're 18th. Obviously just my opinion, slightly clouded by the fact I want them to go down mind.

Everton - They're down there because they can't beat the teams around them, you can raise your game at home against the Man Utd, Man City and the Chelsea's. You have to beat the others and they can't, a jammy win against Chelsea ain't changed nowt for me.

I don't think I ever remember team spirit like this before, under KK it was good, but i don't think even that surpassed what is before us now. A likeable manager who could be turning out to be someone very special, every time you hear something new about him you can't believe it's true as it so impressive. Owners who are also very likeable, who so far really do seem to have the club and fans in their best interest. Imagine if we actually won something
