And do we ever learn not to write players off too early ? Agree on Ramsey, looked OK every time I've seen him. Elanga needs to pull his finger out as he's not been good, but I'm not writing him off after 3 months.

I love Pope, but he's killing us in games with the mistakes. Eddie has to see what we all are, and it's not like we don't have a very very good GK on the bench.

Must say i do agree with all of that, my comments are on this game. Overall i couldn't agree more, and it is worrying that we haven't found a way out of it.

To be fair we didn't play a game for 3 months of that Is worrying though, it's set in and plays on the players minds.

Obviously i don't agree the main sentiment tonight. As i thought we played OK, Pope's nuttiness aside. I must say, and I'll whack on the tin hat. Agreed in general, but this game is different, our play has stayed OK. Pope has caused this, without the first goal the second doesn't happen. And, with our final ball being poor, and us missing chances. That's why it's been different for me, we barely created chances at West Ham, Brighton etc.

Might be just me but i think we've played quite well, just Pope and a poor 5 mins has killed us. It's so far from the poor performances away this season, it's been decent.

Not in this game though, not sure if you can't see why this one is slightly different. We've created lots of chances, we just got let down by Pope's stupidity, not a change in anything Eddie did.

Need to rest Tino, no one else on the bench for RB i suppose.

Why is everyone saying it's Eddie's half time team talk, not a lot he could have done with Pope being so brain dead. The half hasn't even got going, we haven't changed anything, it's just Pope's stupidity that has the game on it's head. We're still playing OK, and still having chances, but ffs get Gordon off, he's been shite, and is so far away from being a centre forward as Dan Burn is.

Pope has fecked the game for us, completely turned the game on it's head with an idiotic piece of play.
