That's true, but at the lowest level, you get verbal and physical abuse, and intimidation like you wouldn't believe. That's why decent refs don't come through, no one should have to face that for £35 a game. Plus the training is mental, with the rules changes that are just ridiculous. Refs don't make the laws, they just apply them. Yes refs can be poor, and interpret the rules in a strange way, but no ref goes out to be poor, they just are through lack of ability like this clown.

I used to referee, and it's in the laws. Just putting your head there in an aggressive manner is enough, which ever way you cut it he did that. It's not fair, and you're correct Diaz was the initial aggressor, but as happens in these things, he got Fab to give him the chance play act. Well he does like the odd Prem experience player, but Bruno, Botman, Isak, Tonali, makes the only part a bit redundant. We want Guehi because he covers a multitude of things Eddie likes The Prem experience, 24 so plenty of scope to improve, not a dickhead, an ideal signing. Absolutely don't doubt Eddie would want a non experienced Prem player, but he has his targets and it's about quality that he sees that'll fit into his system.

I would say a lot of the names offered as alternatives the club probably haven't even looked at. That's the problem what fans see in the era of seeing games everywhere, at all times from every part of the globe. And Football Manager being as it is, we've all become master scouts in our heads.
