True, but he's not covering our games every time we're on. And the fact that they wheel out utter bell ends like Wise et al and give them a platform to spout their lies and other utter shite kind of negates it for me. Aye, the pundit on our games is nearly always a pro-Ashley moron who slags our fans off and as you said, lies through their teeth.

While i certainly think Rafa can overdo the defensive side of things you have to see the team as a whole. My point being, our striker will not look that good when we have such a poor number 10, a left back who cant attack leaves you again less attacking options. And while Diame played well last season, he's not good enough apart from breaking play up. Give Rafa better players and we'll look better, pretty simple. In my opinion out lack of a creative decent number 10 really hurts us more than anything else, i think it's a crucial position in Rafa's system and time and time again the club has just refused to back Rafa and get that key player. Past players of Rafa's have commented on him being overly defensive at times when they felt there was no need for it, that's something we have to accept. Rafa is doing what he can with a very poor overall squad, there's no better manager for us in this situation. And if a miracle happens and we get sold, there's no better manager to takes us forward. Defensive at times, aye but a winner of multiple trophies in different countries, well I'll take that. Of course we want to see great football, who doesn't ? But if i see us win a trophy playing good football, with a few defensive performances chucked in now and again, I'd be a pig in chardonnay.

McKeag, Hall / Shepherd, Ashley are all as guilty as each other for using NUFC as their personal cash cow. The level of money raped from the coffers is commensurate with the money coming into the club over that time. Aye but Ashley is still worse than them, at no stage did they make me want to walk away from supporting the club, not how Ashley has. And he's doing far more damage than they ever did.
