If we get as many as 0 I'll be amazed. -
I got that beat sonny.

His time at Extremadura didn't happen? Not to jinx it but when he was in this situation, Extremadura went down. As always with Rafa his big brain will know what to do different. Aye. Finished 17th and went down via play offs. I’d take 17th this season if offered it now. Same here
-
And why he wanted a better striker and number 10. It's amazing that Ashley and his cronies can't connect the dots after 10 years of seeing football up close, and despite being utterly pathetic, they somehow ended up with a world class manager. Clueless to the end Ashley, utterly clueless.

Absolutely trying to make something out of nothing that shit is. She's a mackem. I know, Louise with the teeth isn't it ?

I went and worked it out manually, like a shmuck. 36.81 points is the points total needed on average over the past 22 years, a low of 31 and a high of 43. Got to love the dedication Looking back at the league over the years, the first ten years of the Premiership it's over 40 to stay up, the last dozen or so it's been below 40. We need to get out more on a Saturday night Remember, there were extra matches in the first couple of seasons. Aye, 49, 43 and 46* (*46 would have kept you up in that season) in the first three seasons of 22 teams. Well it's much lower than 40 to stay up then, right lets aim for 34 points, fuck it 33 might do it

He is partly to blame, not for the standard of the players but the tactics (not hoying Murphy on for Ritchie) and lack of urgency after we equalized. Mind you his sub of Joselu got us the equalizer. A genius can't be a genius all the time.

That's where i disagree HTT, to be fair i hate the fat mess but i truly think he's the most overrated bag of testicles in the history of football. Bit over the top, still I'll go with it.

Leicester won the league by ten points with less possessions than a tramp.

Saved us a point though, twice in fact i would say. Perhaps, but he didn't have a good game overall. 'Perhaps' fecking definitely seeing as he cleared off the line in the last minute. Agree with you though, he didn't have a good game.

I can only think of Pardew as an example of a more overrated clown in world football. Aye he's right up there with him.
-
Pretty sure they were outside the relegation zone as well. Aye they were but as is often said 'Newcastle would have stayed up under Big Sam' We fucking did under KK, we went down the following season because of Ashley, Wise messing KK about and then JFK being brought in as manager. Never let the truth get in the way of praising Sky's favorite fat girdle wearing ignorant pillock.

...hence why it's a target. He saying the target should be lower i think. I wonder what the actual average points total to survive is. I know that's what the suggestion is, but it's daft, you obviously aim for what's going to almost certainly get you safe most of the time, which is 40 points. Aye agreed, you never want to go too close. I get what timeEd32 is saying but i would prefer 40+ to be sure.
-
Indeed it's 37 as the average.

So fat head will get praise for keeping up a team that spent nearly £100 million in the summer, and will probably spend £50m himself this window. Has there ever been a manager who's spent so much to win fuck all and build shit football teams ? At West Ham i think the stats said he spent the most outside the top 4 to be utterly dreadful and average. He's a pile of useless shit, i hate him.
-
Aye survival total should probably be lowered to 38 and you'll be safe.
-
That is one brilliant goal.
-
Everton are shit, 3-0 Kane again.
-
Poor overall today, yet saved us a point.

Wot. Thanks for that f***ing outstanding contribution Kanj. A couple of headers that were by no means bankers and a strike from about 16 yards on his left foot whilst being covered by a defender. You would hope he'd put one of them away and we need a new striker who 9 times out of 10 would but people are cracking on like they were everytime Cisse dared to not burry a chance. I don’t agree with you man. I feel like You’re making excuses for our #9. I’m sorry the second chance was on a plate with the entire left side of Fabianski open and he heads across goal 2-3 yards wide. He’s then offside on a corner, with 0 awareness to get back on and wasted that chance. That first header, by the way, basically ayew had the same chance and gets it on goal and scored he rebound on us. Our striker hits that horribly wide. Sorry if my Wot winded you up but I was shocked by what you said. That’s all. It wouldn't have been a chance if he wasn't offside though. The keeper would have just collected it easily. I guess a player can't be onside then run onto a chance then? if he was even and stepped forward? If Gayle isn't standing there blocking him, the keeper just comes out and takes it though IMO. It was very close with the guy on the left anyway IMO, I'd have to see it again You should watch it again, if he's even with his man or even a step onside and lunges forward anticipating he scores. He's just standing there like a f***ing doofus. I'll watch it on MOTD later. You could be right but tbf someone earlier was complaining about him not being like 4-5 yards further back which was completely nonsensical How is it nonsensical to say Gayle should have been onside? You're drunk. You said 4-5 yards further back That means the chance of a goal is completely gone Dunno like, if Gayle doesn't go for it i'm pretty sure someone was at the back post free and onside.

Playing the bottom team nearly 2 weeks into this window, and not to have even tried to sign anyone in time for this match is fucking disgraceful. We could have almost guaranteed Swansea would have finished below us today if this fucking owner behaved like a normal human being.
