I don't think VAR is the issue per se. In England the sheer and utter incompetence of our referees is making VAR appear terrible. After all VAR is just video replays, but our refs and their arrogance that they know best, is killing what VAR should be for. I'm in the camp VAR is a good thing, but I'm also in the camp it should scrapped if these utter bellends continue to misuse it like they are. They use it to find ways to prevent goals, not correct obvious errors. And, as we're now seeing, to protect the scummy six when and where they can.

Amorim is speaking so well, he can see the issues but can't change it, it's been like this since he came in. I like him, but time is showing he's not good enough for the job. Maybe later in his career, but not now for sure.
