Saw people on Twitter discussing us loaning out the likes of Mitrovic, Wijnaldum and Perez next season, presumably to get them back if we get promoted. Seems stupid given we'll probably work under the idea of only spending whatever money we bring in. I guess the way to look at that scenario is, their wages (or part of them off the books) plus we'd get a loan fee...so we would get money back in. The only one i could see it happening with is Mitro. The others will be sold, Perez might stay imo.

I didn't see it as a stamp per se, more of a studs showing straight leg knowing you're getting the other player. Still a terrible tackle, but a stamp for me is the Roy Keane on Gareth Southgate type. Either way it's still indefensible.

The assist thing bugs me, just because a player doesn't have the last touch before the scorer doesn't mean they weren't influential in the actual goal. There's so much more to it than just the assist, while the assist is the main thing after the goal, it's not so black and white as just those two things.
