  1. Then that's the end of that I'd say. Just a suggestion, who knows, but IF that was the case I'd say he can go and f*** himself to be honest. I agree if it is but all the reports have suggested that he is keen to come - everything points to the fact that Ashley has a new crane to lift him back up and is trying to play football manager again - we will see but I will be very surprised if anyone comes in by tomorrow of any stature. If he was keen to come why would we not just pay the £13m and get the deal done? If there's a loan fee which we don't want to pay then that would suggest it's Townsend that wants it to be a loan deal initially. I reckon it's us who won't commit to the £13m and want a loan in case we don't go up. While we all think we'll go up i suppose paying £13m and getting a player in on Premiership wages would be a risk, if we then didn't go up.
  2. Thinks it's as much as them as it is us playing hardball for the £2m like.

Might as well call them Evertonland or Sunderton now.
  4. £15m altogether with the prices the way they are right now is a steal, he's talented and perfect for Rafa's 4-2-3-1. I wouldn't say it's a steal but it would likely ensure promotion so it's certainly worth paying a bit of a premium to get it done. £15m for an England international who's only 25. It's bloody cheap with the madness going on right now. Personally i think anything for any player over £5m is nuts, the way the world is anyhoo.

  6. Sellers market right now though, i agree with you mind.
  7. Aye it's stupid given the amount of money in the game just pay it. I actually think they got him for an artificially low price due the release clause so don't blame them for wanting more. But i suppose our argument would be they did the same when hey bought him off us, and now only 5 months later don't want him and expect us to pay more for a player they don't want. He had a release clause which is the only reason they got him for the price they did. Very true, fwiw i think we'll get him now.

  9. Does he have a release clause in his contract with Palace like he did with us? SSN didn't say that outright but that's how it just sounded to me.
  10. SSN on right now saying we're happy to pay £13m to buy him back if promoted, but it is indeed Palace asking for a £2m loan fee that's holding it up.
  11. He's utter shit. Maybe it's because of a complication of aids you mental bastard.
  12. Gameweek 23 Arsenal 3 v 1 Watford Bournemouth 1 v 1 Crystal Palace Burnley 0 v 2 Leicester Middlesbrough 1 v 1 West Brom Sunderland 0 v 3 Spurs Swansea 2 v 1 Southampton Liverpool 1 v 3 Chelsea West Ham 1 v 2 Man City Man Utd 2 v 0 Hull Stoke 1 v 1 Everton Newcastle 2 v 0 QPR
  13. Southampton should be winning this game.
  14. Dunno though, if Pardew fell off a car park and snuffed it. We'd have a hour long round of laughter.
  15. If we sign those two by the end of the week I'll spunk in your mouth. Quoted.
  16. How old are you? That made me snicker! 46, there are some nice treets going on.
  17. Fulham manager asked the players and staff if they should get Ross McCormack back, they unanimously said fuck that
  18. One chocolate joke and now we have a ripple effect.

If Rafa sees something then good, well as long as it's not what he saw in Sels but what he saw in Clark.
  22. Definitely inclined to believe we are being a bit tight, mind you if Palace are asking more than they paid, i can see why we won't pay it (if that's the case).
