  1. When we were promoted that night, they were relegated to League One at the same time, i think he might mean.
  2. Yup, he'll batter the living daylights out of us. Aye he's bound to poach a couple of goals.
  3. He was spot on. On the whole it was a very decent refereeing performance. It actually was. Sometimes as Carragher pointed out the players need to look at themselves, Vardy in particular, dives and then has the front to abuse the ref for noticing it. What amazes me is players seem to think TV pictures which show it all to everyone are irrelevent and wrong. It truly baffles me at times how their minds work.
  4. Carragher on MNF football backing up Moss that he got the decisions right. Actually have to agree with him to be honest and the one thing the ref keeps getting called is weak, he certainly wasn't that.
  5. It's not really Rafa's tactics we have to worry about, it's the 11 simpletons asked to carry them out.
  6. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/dressing-room-opinion-word-inside-11200402 “In this changing room, we need a character because I think we have lacked it - I said it last week, I think we have lacked it a little bit this season. “I’m young, but I don’t think that matters. I don’t care about experience or anything like that - if you can talk, you can talk, so do it. “But it’s had a big reaction on the other players and that’s exactly what we needed, so I am really pleased with them.” I'm taking a shine to this lad
  7. And if you looked at Liverpool's line up today, all the eggs are in the Europa basket. That was a good win with that line up to be fair.
  8. A Pardew side lets a goal in just before half time, never !!
  9. Right now the one and only thing i'm actually looking forward to if we go down, is seeing Adam Armstrong playing up top for us in the Championship. If we stay up i don't think he'll play much and be loaned out again (no bad thing to be fair getting game time). It'll just be nice to see him scoring for us and hopefully becoming a top player.
  10. Imo i think we've appointed one of the best long term managers but probably the wrong short term one for trying to stay up. Rafa likes to build his teams from the back, being unable to do that he's come into a team with an awful defence and simply can't turn it around. I'm not really sure anyone else could of either tbh because the players are utterly awful. If he's given the time and money then he'll be a massive success here, it's just whether he stays and he gets the chance to mould and build the club as he sees fit.

  12. Nah it us obviously, deluded idiots that we are.
  13. I think the actual amount Jonas was claiming was £2m, shame the tribunal couldn't award more.
  14. How exactly does that explain Palace dropping like a stone this season then, what a cunt his agent is.

  16. Yep. I get he wants experience. But Steven Taylor, FFS?! I thought Lascelles was solid, if unspectacular, when he had to come into the team. Seems to lead and organise well, plus he wins everything in the air. Dropping him for that fist pumping disaster zone, was a terrible decision. Just from the few games we've seen of him, he's far better than Saylor. Experience or not he has to play over him but i get the feeling it'll be Chancel and Colo this weekend for some reason. No chance, Colo has twisted his bullshit again and in an attempt to protect his fragile pea-sized heart he won't play again this season. Ah, well not too bothered about that. Chancel and Jamaal is it. He's been on the verge of a return for a while but keeps being omitted, clearly lost heart and doesn't want to be involved in the fight, plus he's not had his annual holiday jaunt to Argentina this year so is probably feeling a little homesick. He might be better than Lascelles but he doesn't have half the heart or fight in him. Neither do most the other players. To be honest i think we've being fooling ourselves a bit, these players aren't just gutless, they're not very good footballers either. Most of our players are bang average with a few outstanding performances thrown in when the going wasn't so tough but are clearly worse than the sum of their parts, mostly due to the fact they're an improper sum that doesn't fit together but also because they are fucking cowards and none of them have the ability to gee any of the others up. We have no leaders to grab a game by the balls and do something. We're not a team just a bunch of heartless individuals bar the odd one or two that care but aren't good enough. Thanks Ashley you fat useless fuck.
  17. There are a lot of great centrebacks who are not excellent in the air and are still top class defenders. Mbemba has the physical side and makes a lot of great tackles. IMO he has a bright future. People tend to forget how shit our back 4 is and how much it has changed during this season. And he's only 21 and is still maturing and playing in probably the hardest league for a young foreign CB. Hope he stays and we get a season in the Championship for him to develop, might do him the world of good.
