  1. Bedtime, maybes? It would suggest that they are working on this though? Before I saw this I assumed it was bollocks.
  2. How to read into this.. On my LinkedIn, “Walker Morris LLP in the news” Click the link.. There’s a shields gazette article posted - “Newcastle United News: Takeover Deal edges closer as Rafa Benitez eyes Arsenal target” Just 3 likes but one of them is Rob Aberdein who’s a partner with Walker Morris Think this is actually happening lads!
  3. The fucking news sites.. this morning they make up reports of a deal agreed in principal and then publish more articles on how club sources have said it was bollocks. They knew it was bollocks before they wrote the first article! There should be a fucking social media campaign to hold these click baiting cunts to account. Do something useful TMG, make it happen.
  4. Invalid tweet? It was Douglas saying "As an addendum, Rafa had been expecting news on the takeover on Sunday which didn't arrive." So Rafa was sold the same pup, again. He’ll be off in the summer for sure unless a complete turnaround happens in January.
  5. I just don’t know how badly he wants to sell us. Every other aspect of his business is done quite quickly and under the radar. Surely something would have happened by now. As he pointed out recently, his HoF deal was a 4am phone call. He’s open for business at all times. Just not when it comes to this club apparently. Or maybe it’s just that nobody with that sort of money actually wants to own this club. Two relegations and years of playing shit football has taken its toll I guess. That’s the worrying part. If nobody really wants us, he’s stuck with the club and we’re stuck with him for the long haul.
  6. Does the end justify the means? West Ham were shocked into making some very good purchases and are now streets ahead of us. Even if Mike Ashley’s days are coming to an end here, why not make them highly uncomfortable?
  7. Serious question, what would it take, as in what would he have to do to this club to get a reaction like West Ham owners got last season?
  8. Lascelles had a shocker yes but not one tackle from our midfield on the way to that goal. Ki already on a yellow, why didn’t anyone else trip the cunt? Kenedy. Fresh legs, just watched his man sprint into the box. Lazy cunt with a shit attitude. Rafa looks to have finally copped onto this too. Lascelles looks a shadow of himself ever since Fernandez came in and showed everyone what decent defending looks like. Captain my arse. Without Schär passing from the back we looked one dimensional once again. Thankfully he’s not injured as we need him.
  9. Look at all the energy we’ve put into this.. literally all he did was stutter a few lines out designed to put doubt into a planned protest. Which would have been televised. It worked. We have no backbone. TMG is not fit for purpose. They should have realised what was happening and got everyone to double down on the protest. When is our next televised game?
  10. Locked in to a serious Fortnite session.
  11. With so many average players it’s hard to blame tactics. Looks like Rafa has lost trust with a few of them too. Wolves were shite but still better than us. That’s how bad we are right now.
  12. No coincidence that out upturn in form coincided with Lascelles being injured/dropped. He’s had a shocker today.
  13. For what it’s worth, Lee Charnley has been put forward for some big local jobs for a while now. I think he would have left anyway, but the timing of this just adds fuel to the fire.
  14. ITK or are you making up bollocks ? I know a few of their business development managers, people who would have worked for the club in a similar role before so it’s fairly solid! He’s in line to be their GM in early 2019 but this happened a while ago so I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the phantom takeover. I’ll be keeping tabs on any changes to the named directors of the club. Charnley is director of about 50 registered business names associated with the club.
  15. Charnley's been awfully quiet of late. Looking for a new job. Newcastle Racecourse is the word according to a few of their bdm’s.
  16. The word is that Charnley is going to take up a position with Newcastle Racecourse in 2019. He’s currently a director of about 50 different director positions within the club. If he was to be removed from these, would surely be significant?
  17. They are/were. My last jaunt was Half Life 2. I haven’t seen anything since to tempt me into buying a new console. That just be at least 10 years ago.
  18. Is that supposed to be an excuse? http://cdn.themis-media.com/media/global/images/galleries/display/29/29046.jpg Just pointing out that it's you that's massively out of touch on this one. Yes I’m a dinosaur. How old are you btw?

  20. He didn’t want to answer certain questions so he spouts that he isn’t aware of it. Of course they are. What if he’d said what he really thought? What good would that have done the club in general? Sure it would have gotten the fans on side but then it would have driven a bigger wedge between the coaching staff, players and the owner. Like it or lump it, Ashley will still be around in January and he needs to be involved if we’re to do any business in the window. We’re not far off a squad that can survive the season. Two or three players in key positions should do it. See noone expects the guy to do this either - assuming he does disagree with it all, or Rafa. This is the weird false dichotomy that surfacres. Doesn’t matter who you are. You say to your paying/committed ‘stop the negativity’ without being prepared to debate that view and you’re set for a fall. It was a pity he let/found himself get thrust in that situation. It is a shame as I do believe he’s one of a core bunch of players who give a fuck. But his radio interview, he just came across as a bit thick. Well let’s be honest. It was more than just a bit. And Shelvey calling up to ask him something about Fortnite told us all you need to know about him as well, he’s nearly 27 years old! Cop the fuck on mate and improve your game. There was a place in that England squad going a begging, but that’s slipping away quickly now with the emergence of players like Declan Rice. If we have a squad of players who are happy with mediocrity, that’s all we’ll ever be.

  22. I am. I haven’t been to a game this season.
  23. Seems like a bit of opportunism by TMG to me. The boycott wasn’t looking like it was going to be a rip roaring success. So it’s far easier to save face by calling it off for this daft reason. With regards to this phantom takeover. Nobody knows if it will ever happen or not. But Mike Ashley appearing on Sky News with that smirk on his face and stuttering like a twat doesn’t sit well. It’s being televised. Would have been perfect to have a half empty stadium as there’d be no getting away from it. Yet he gets away with it, again. We fuckin deserve him. No backbone our support. Gotta give credit to West Ham. The fans made the headlines and were vilified but it blew over quick enough and the club is much healthier now for it.
