  1. Their director of football wasn’t on it as had been reported.
  2. It’s quite a scummy move to pick up on a tragedy and tweet bollocks just to get likes or followers.
  3. You should never feel sick about wishing this on Ashley lets be honest all of our Christmas's would have come at once if the fat c*** was a victim of something like this Mate if you’d feel good about something like that then there’s something wrong with you.
  4. Nah man, that’s the helicopter on its side. Do they have doors on both sides? Imagine surviving that impact and then not being able to escape. Feel quite sick having joked about hoping that would happen to Ashley.

He was good last week too tbf, looked like one of our most likely players. Feels like since that poor Cardiff performance he's coming under pretty intense scrutiny. Rightly so. He’s been 95% gash all season. Frustrating because we know, or think we know he can do better. All of his best work for us either this season or last has been when he’s found himself up front. For a player who’s supposed to be a winger, he’s shite at it. Why can’t he whip a ball in with his left foot?
  6. Yedlin could be quite effective in Matt Ritchie’s position if we ever signed a half decent right back.
  7. We didn’t concede because we had an injection of quality from the loan signings we brought in (in January) This squad finished 10th last season. Yet now we can’t win a fucking game. It’s the same fucking squad. So how is that not on Rafa? And money spent also means nothing. Fulham spent about 100m and are 3 points ahead of us. Cathro is relevant. We definitely were worse for his absence.
  8. Look, I’m not for a minute saying that our predicament is Rafa’s fault. That’s on Mike Ashley. It doesn’t even need to be said, yet it does apparently. I’m just saying that Rafa hasn’t done as good a job as he did last year. It’s pretty much the same squad as what he finished up with last season. Yet we’re now miles off that. Why is he immune to criticism for this? Several players have been way off what they were too. Lascelles being one, he looks a shadow of himself. We’re a bunch of surrender monkeys this season. And before someone says “if we stand still we go backwards” that’s not entirely true. Man Utd went a few seasons with the same squad and kept their standard extremely high. Arsenal went a few seasons without much investment and stayed in the top 4. Everton went a long time without much investment and stayed roughly in or around what they’d been achieving under Moyes. Our run in last season coincided with a couple of key loan signings, but ever since he’s had more time to work with them, they’ve all gone off the boil. The organisation that was present while Cathro was still a coach here is definitely missing.
  9. Because Rafa is well liked all objectivity is lost in relation to how well he’s doing his job. Pardew (although he never piped up about it) was fucked around by Mike Ashley just as much in transfer windows. (Bar one or two windows when we did ok) Because we hated him, we were always able to put that aside and criticise his performance as a manager after the window had shut. Can’t say a bad word about Rafa or people lose their shit.
  10. I count 63.3m on total cack. Which are the players on 63.3m of total cack? Muto, Schar, Joselu, Manquillo, Murphy, Atsu, Lazaar, Clark, Hanley, Hayden, Sels,
  11. He’s not at the races this season. 3 transfer windows with 40% success has caught up and the squad is now floundering. Everything that he’s supposed to be as a coach, organised, hard to break down etc.. that’s all gone. I’m not turning on Rafa. He’s still the best manager we could possibly have in our position, am just saying he needs to do better than he’s been doing this season. I think he’s lost focus on the simple things that made the team better. Or maybe he’s just not that bothered seeming as he'll be off in around 6 months.
  12. It's also how you end up in a position where £10m is spent on someone like Murphy and rather than it being viewed as a pittance for a young, British player, it's viewed as a waste of a lot of money and we're in a position where some of our fans are thinking like Ashley, completely divorced from the reality of modern day football spending. If he ever played Murphy I would feel differently. This was someone he wanted. Who was our most expensive signing that summer. This isn’t about agreeing with Mike Ashley. Don’t be so fucking stupid. This is about taking the rose tinted glasses off for a moment and actually seeing that Rafa has done a decent job but not amazing, certainly not in the transfer market with what he’s had to spend. The state of the team this year is on him. The same bunch played far better last year.
  13. And of those 25 players listed, only 10 of them have been decent. That’s a 40% success rate.
  14. As much as Rafa has coached a few of the players on to better performances, one thing really stands out. He’s spent over 60 million over three seasons on players that rarely play if at all. Total dross. That’s a possible 6 x 10m players who could have come in and made a difference. Or 3 x 20m.. even just three very decent players could have made a massive difference to this team. I’m not even counting the free transfers who never played and but took up wage budget. He’s bought poorly for the most part and I think this is probably the root of Ashley’s stance, or his excuse possibly for not backing him. Sacking him will cost about 3 million (half a season) it’s not beyond the possibility that this could happen sooner than we think.
  15. Because you can always find someone else. In football it’s NUFC or nobody. Exactly. Wouldn’t nobody be better for the soul than putting up with this crap. I will definitely reach a point where enough is enough. All that’s keeping me going is the slimmest possibility that either the club will be sold suddenly or else that vile cunt will get bowel cancer or a sudden heart attack. This club stopped being fun a long time ago.
  16. He’s well and truly taken the life out of the club and sadly the supporters too. There was a time when the noise would be there from the get go and would drive the team on. It’s the opposite now. Total graveyard unless everything is going our way. I’m reaching a point where I’m wondering if it’s worth it. This club isn’t good for the aul mental health. Having something to look forward to is so important in life and aside from wishing death on someone, there’s nothing at all we can look forward to with this club. If a person made you feel any of the emotions we feel on a weekly basis, you’d cut them out of your life fairly quickly. Why not the club?
  17. Mixed feelings. I really like the man. He’s a brilliant manager but it’s surely coming to an end here if it continues like this.
  18. They care, they are just bad players They cared last season. It’s the same bunch pretty much. Too many apologists on here. It’s time to call a spade a spade.
  19. The players couldn’t give a bollocks. Rinsed and repeat. Happily pick up the wages. Rafa going through the motions too.
  20. So fucking predictable. All any team playing us at home has to do is let us have the ball. We’re clueless. As much as Mike Ashley needs to fuck off and give his cancer to some other entity, the players can fuck off too, as can Rafa. Poor showing from everyone.
  21. Because that's football, you always have to progress. Also momentum was a big thing at the end of last season. Never mind progression, we’ve gone backwards.
  22. Why are we a worse team than we were last season? Bear in mind we didn’t sell anyone that would be playing.
