What happened? Only just tuning in now.

The Easdale Brothers, Llambias & Carr according to this. https://stv.tv/sport/football/1431943-mike-ashley-associates-very-interested-in-morton-takeover/ I'm sure the fat shithouse will have a slice of this pie somehow. Not the dainty hoof prints of someone about to sell the club..

The Joe Kinnear of the PR business I heard. Sports Direct own 51% of his company so not only is he a total puppet. His livelihood is tied to the success of SD. There will never be a situation where his line of PR is for the benefit of the club and thus should be treated as a dangerous adversary.

It was on the beeb this morning about them being interested in a premier club, man united were cited. I doubt bishop is that calculated tbh He couldn’t play a record. I believe the original tweet that started this was to deny that Osama Bin Salami has an interest in buying Man Utd. But to suggest that some Saudi investment group were looking at us. Total bollocks.
-
1. Leak some news about some takeover interest but this time, let’s pick some truly diabolical people. 2. Sit back and let the planted seed grow. 3. Actually observe Newcastle supporters comment that Ashley isn’t the worst. I bet Keith Bishop is reading this thread right now and laughing away like some master troll. There is no Saudi interest. Let’s stop being played like a fucking orchestra and get back to the job at hand.
-
I suspect it’s all a load of twoddle anyway. In fact, every story about a takeover since after Keegan left has likely been Keith Bishop bollocks. I’m getting angry thinking about that. How much time has the average person on here wasted by looking up news sites/twitter for updates or discussing it on forums? It’s nice to be able to see things quite clearly now. Bishop has run out of moves from his playbook so everything is very obvious.

As major shareholders of the company, @odeyview @phoenixassets @Schroders @SchrodersPR @NorgesBank @Fidelity_UK may be interested to hear your views on @SportsDirectUK . Just saying. #AshleyOut #NotBlowingOver #NUFC Do your work people. I work with Fidelity from time to time. Had no idea they were involved with SD. They’re big on corporate responsibility and would quickly take notice of the situation (if presented in the right way*) *thats the important part. Incoherent posts on twitter will do nothing here. A well put together ppt. doc would be ideal.

Was thinking the same thing! And not sure how to feel about it if it were to be true. Going from a cunt of an owner who won’t spend money to investors from a place with the worst human rights record in the world, who also happen to be wiping Yemen off the map. Could we turn a blind eye to it if they bankrolled the club to success?
-
So basically Fat Sam is the man because there’ll be venom coming from every direction?
-
Even if he was suddenly backed (highly doubtful), I suspect there’s been too much crap that’s happened over the last few windows. Will he ever turn it around? The squad is about as good as the one that finished up last season, yet we’re playing like a team already relegated. This isn’t Rafas fault, clearly. He’s been shat on by Mike Ashley and it’s taken it’s toll. I’d always hoped Ashley would be gone and someone with some clout would come in and start building a decent squad. It’s just dragged on though and all that good will and buzz about when Rafa first arrived is fading away bit by bit.

He was a shit footballer. League 2 or below is his level. So to be honest, I’m not sure if you can throw the whole line of a waste of talent. Not sure it was there to begin with. He clung about long enough here to earn enough money to act like a total cunt at every opportunity. It was inevitable that he’d squander it. If he had any intelligence he would have realised his fortune and made hay for however long the sun would shine on him.

Wouldn't that need to be declared to the stock market? It depends on who exactly bought House of Fraser. If it was Mike Ashley, then no he wouldn’t need to announce it to the stock market. The money is his. NUFC is literally just another bank account for him to move funds around. this is why i asked the question, it was reported as SD bought HoF and indeed it was announced to the stock exchange https://news.sky.com/story/mike-ashleys-sports-direct-buys-house-of-fraser-for-90m-11468296 so how the f*** could the two be linked directly? If he can personally loan the club money and have that hang over us, you can bet he’s doing the exact same with SD. He’s literally using all his business entities as bank accounts. Moving one pile of cash around to another until he needs it. It was well reported that SD were not in a strong cash position recently. So how do they suddenly have 90m available?

Yeah but who’s checking? He deliberately sets his companies up with hundreds of smaller entities so that it’s virtually impossible to make sense of it. I take nothing the club says at face value any more.
-
I called that during the summer and got called a mentalist for even suggesting such a diabolical move. Where’s the money gone? It bought House of Fraser. Here’s a question, when the club says Mike Ashley loaned it money. Where is the record of this kept? How do we know he actually did this?

Some save that!

The players Mourinho brought on made a difference. It needed a moment of magic to get the ball rolling for them (twice actually) but that’s what happens when you have a couple of superstar players in a side. Mata’s free kick and Pogba’s flick back were sublime. Their winner was just a matter of time at that point.
-
Me nerves!
-
It would be nice to see Mourinho get some support from our lot tomorrow. I’ve always thought he’d manage us some day on account of his links to SBR.

SSN now ? they didn’t show the clip though

It’s like a monty python sketch. At least the unlikely media sections are reporting on it too. Talksport for example. Although they have an especially dark version of the photo up online.
-
Let’s see if this gets any coverage. Or is it that because everyone knows what an absolute cunt the man is that his cuntish behaviour isn’t newsworthy?
-
If SJP has essentially been stripped down and the copper wiring pulled out as it seems he’s been doing.. would it make more sense for a potential new owner to just build a new home for the club? It seems like the way everything has been broken up into pieces and sold off here and there, it would be very tricky to get permission to make any serious upgrades to the stadium. Which are badly needed. But with that in mind, it’s hard enough to find a buyer with 300-400 million to take the club, probably impossible to find someone willing to invest in a brand new stadium. Where else could a stadium be built?

They look like a team that wants their manager sacked. We look like a team that’s unable to score. 0-0 all over this.

I wonder do KBA make payments to Sky? That would be a story.. Imagine if their whole news channel was exposed as a pay to have your agenda peddled setup.. Or does Bishop threaten to pull any number of ex player/pundits from appearing unless he gets to cherry pick Ashley cronies for some good ol’ propaganda.
