  1. The timing of the story was highly suspect. Almost as if a PR agency was involved..
  2. We will possibly hate Kenyon just as much as Ashley tbh, but I’m willing to take that chance. If it’s true.. He’s been extremely successful running one of the worlds biggest clubs and then a small club that won the lottery. Abramovich saw him as a key appointment for Chelsea to be taken seriously. Running a club the way Ashley does would be totally alien to him. So would he be a massive improvement? Most certainly. Would he buy into a club just to have them tread water? Definitely not. Would he try and get the best players possible for the club? That’s all he knows in the game..
  3. Being saying that for years now the majority of people who go to the match nowadays are just sheep - there are a few and full credit to them but they are certainly in the minority. How many were there again 2-3000 when there is no excuse really why that shouldn't be 20-30000 as it's right at the ground and they are going to the match anyway. Again well done to the 2-3000. What was your input today? Since I'm in London nothing - but then again my input is I vote with my feet and don't go as I have for serveral years unlike you I don't go either, apart from to the meetings and protests. So what else have you done so far? You only just don't go let's get that right first so don't try and come on with the hero game Calm.down dear, nobody is playing the hero game.....but if you're going to lecture from afar, I think people have the right to question your credentials do they not? Done my bit I don't go if there were a few thousand more did the same it would make a difference - however if I was going to the match I would not be sitting in my seat doing sweet fa either So what would you be doing at the match, if you were there? Not sitting round doing nothing as I said - I would have joined the protests as it's on the way to the ground for a start and join in with the Ashley out. But I don't go - think you need to aim your furstrations at the 95% of attending fans who go to the match and do nothing. I'm not aiming my frustrations at anyone, I merely asked what your input was today, as you were slatinig loads of people. I think there are plenty ways people can contribute to this, without actually being in the area......I just think if people are really determined to get Ashley out, then they need to do a lot more than simply not turning up.and lecturing others. Just my opinion. you saw his face today laughing and that's why he has started attending again to basically put two fingers up at everyone. This. I wanted to believe last week was about starting the process of making amends with Rafa. But his face today, him and that Bishop cunt. It’s more obvious to me now that turning up as a show of solidarity with his cronies is a response to the online camaign and the outside protests. It’s hurt them enough to make him step foot in Newcastle today. We should be doubling up on this. The Kenyon thing is too convenient, the timing I mean. He could well have been given the heads up about the news leaking with the agreement that he waits for at least a few weeks before denying it. As I said on a previous post, his attention is purely in China these days so looking for funding around Wall St doesn’t add up.
  4. The players who wanted to be here who he sold were better than the dross that he’s brought in to replace them with. We had a better squad in the championship than we do now. I’m not turning on Rafa but to suggest that he’s not at all responsible is mental.
  5. We’ve been second best throughout the majority of the game, like 95% of it. We lost to a better team like what will happen in most of our games this season. On this form, we’re going down.

    The Magpie Group

It’s taken them two months to start fighting back.
  7. If Kenyon were to be interested, it’ll be China money. He’s been involved with the man who bought Athletico and most of what he’s been involved with is trying to advise wealthy Chinese investors into making the right move. So the whole thing about US financiers makes little sense.
  8. Hopefully Kenyon is there to expose the myth that the club is actually for sale
  9. Not his only mistake but probably his biggest. He didn’t HAVE to sell Mitro. But he did while knowing he probably wouldn’t be replaced by anyone decent. The writing was on the wall all summer. So Rafa can either be labelled very naive (which is bullshit) or overly stubborn as we're clearly not better off without him ok the squad. Shite transfer fee too when you think about it. He’ll go to a much bigger club in 9 months for double or treble the fee.
  10. Apparently the fucker is director of football at Birmingham now
  11. This. Who gives a fuck. We’re either a shit big club or a shit middle of the road club. The key word is shit. We used to not be.
  12. He has no interest in what we do on the pitch. If he was just having a day out with his mates, they’d surely go and see a decent team. Eh? He owns a football club, he’s hardly going to rock up at a match that doesn’t involve his own team and to be honest he’d hardly be welcome. He’s about as welcome as a fart in the shower where ever he goes. Besides owning Newcastle he has no interest in this club. If he had any sporting interest he wouldn’t act like such a cunt all the time. Selling cheap tat is all the man cares about.
  13. He has no interest in what we do on the pitch. If he was just having a day out with his mates, they’d surely go and see a decent team.
  14. Meeting tonight to open initial sale talks I doubt it. They could meet any time that wasn’t at the same time and place that Rafa was there. They’re either there to fuck him over even more somehow OR and I think this is probably the case, that they’re there to offer him a new deal. Rafa wouldn’t bother meeting just Charnley (or Barnes for that matter) as there would never be any assurances and Ashley won’t step foot in Newcastle it would seem. London is the place if that meeting is going to happen. The only way to get the social media campaign and protests to end is by coming to an agreement the fans will get on board with. If we accept that Ashley is going nowhere, then the best outcome we can hope for is that he starts to back Rafa enough so that he’ll stay. Rafa got hoodwinked last time and the person who negotiated his contract on his behalf is now fired. There were no contractual assurances so he was never able to walk away (which I think he might have this summer)
  15. Probably a better defender than Lejeune in fairness, just doesn’t have the distribution in his locker. When he returns, could be an idea to play Lejeune in front of the back 4 with Diame and push Shelvey further forward?
  16. Barnes, Bishop, Charnley in tow. They weren’t there to enjoy the football. Wonder if they’re trying to sweet talk Rafa. Did he even attend a match last season?
  17. Yep you’d expect that off West Ham supporters, not ours. Hope someone in the crowd lamped the cunt
  18. Slight improvement over the piss poor performance second half against Arsenal but not by much. I’m dreading a similar halftime instruction.
  19. Can’t complain with the team he’s picked. Aside from the Cardiff game this is probably the test of where we are in the league. It’s not a “must win” at this point but we have to take some positives from this. We can beat these.
  20. Joint top scorer in the league with Eden Hazard.
  21. Ashley has few options besides Rafa. Who could he possibly attract after how well publicised his shafting of a world class manager has been? Certainly no manager with integrity. When you remove integrity that opens up Allardyce shaped possibilities. It’s unbearable to contemplate. The wrath would be like nothing we’ve seen before from our supporters. Ashley is vindictive enough to do it but he’s not got the backbone to see that one through. So by saying nothing and leaving the option for resolution still on the table, Rafa is playing a blinder. We know he doesn’t want to go. But he will unless something radical changes. The closer to the summer it gets the reality will become apparent to those at the club and it will spook them. He’s in the driving seat now. He should probably have someone different negotiate his contract though, as he got shafted the last time. At a minimum though the conditions would have to be: Investment in the training ground. Minimum 70 million every summer for transfers (not including income from sales). Setting the academy up how he wants it. If any of these are interfered with or reneged on, he walks. Breach of contract. I think he could live with that. Maybe by end of season Ashley might too. Make no mistake, if he’s not happy with the terms (if any are offered) then he’ll be off. But not before he lets the media know why.
  22. Maybe they could both play in the same starting 11. Keep Murphy wide and play Kenedy up with Rondon.. How could that work while also having Ritchie and Ayoze in the side?
  23. Nahh, not the way he was treated by the club. I can’t see a situation at the club that would ever enable him to be considered. Even if Ashley were to sell up and Rafa be given money to spend on a proper side, Ben Arfa would be last name on his shopping list, unfortunately
