The club have been quick in the past to give public backing to an obvious turd in the pool, not so this time. I suppose Charnley is trying to save his job too, it's probably taken him this long to realize what a mistake he made or else he's just been in denial all this time. This would tell me that he's trying to get a good manager in as he knows now that any of the British fuckwits that claim to be a manager are simply just not up to the task. If he can't get whoever it is he's trying to get, he'll keep McFuck and roll the dice, the club not making any sort of statement buys him some time.
-
For the link he had with SBR and almost being groomed to take over here after Bobby retired (Shepherd put a stop to that one), I've always thought he might manage here some day 9not under Ashley but perhaps the next owner). He was always fairly respectful to the fans here. I reckon his ego would convince him to come.. winning something here would easily trump anything he's done previously. A pipe dream for sure.
-
The people who believe his shite are more retarded than he is. Never been right about anything.
-
Having a crisis meeting without him says it all, they'll be onto a few agents regarding maybe 3 or 4 available managers, how hard they negotiate will probably determine who we get. Unless a manager like Rafa (who is pretty much guaranteed job offers) is prepared to take a short term contract until the summer, the rest will be playing hard ball and be wanting a 3 year contract at least with more say in what goes on. The club are in no position to approach the situation like they have in the past.

We can't equate ourselves with Leicester of last season, different players, different characters etc.. Pearson left the club over what that fuckwit of a son did to the hooker. But just because he took that group of players on a run doesn't mean for a moment that he'd walk into the dressing room here and have the respect of our shower of overpaid prima donnas. I suspect the players are doing this on purpose, they want him gone and they have no respect for him or his ideas and as soon as he is gone they'll start playing better.. not unlike what happened at Chelsea (albeit for different reasons)
-
That's rubbish, for a start. We just tend to hire British yes men. Name one British manager who is currently active in club football that wouldn't be a "yes man" for Mike Ashley?
-
Can't see that happening, lot of bad vibes with Ashley when he left. Hypothetically if Wally does get sacked and a decent manager gets appointed, the shitty season might just have been worth it if Penfold is sacked and a proper chairman get's appointed, which is likely as Mike doesn't seem to have any chums left to take up a puppet position. The fact is that he's gotten nothing back for everything that was spent, he'll be seething.
-
Pearson? I know things are bad, but.. I reckon it'll be Moyes but really hope it isn't a British manager, they're all fucking yes men
-
Moyes wouldn't keep us up, not enough time. Only a massive personality will lift this bunch in the remaining games. Those making decisions at the club are slow to see the light, but perhaps they now realise that spunking a few extra quid on a decent manager could have saved so much in pointless January signings. It's Rafa or relegation, thems the options.
-
It would be the humane thing to put him out of his misery, can't see him getting another job after this.
-
Straight from the mouth of Wendy Taylor that, most footballers wouldn't have that sort of grammar contained in that statement.
-
SBR didn't always get it right but I never questioned that he wasn't the right man for the job, same with Keegan. Unfortunately football has bypassed British players in terms of management over the last 15 years, look at the England setup, Rooney and so many others of the same intelligence level.. basically a whole generation of thick as pig shit assholes who just wouldn't have the faculties to succeed at management. And any of the British players that could have the potential to be good at this will never get the exposure because their playing careers are overshadowed by better foreign players, or thick cunts like Rooney et all. If we go for a new manager he has to be foreign.. not Moyes. He wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.
-
The general consensus is that McClaren will take us down if he stays, we all know this. The club have to realise this too, Ashley was obviously concerned enough to spend in January, how can the club not be utterly shitting it right now? Every day that passes is us closer to the drop, and for Mike.. missing out on all that tv cash
-
He's gonna get torn to shreds in prison, like that lawyer guy in Oz.
-
Looking forward to the championship already, it's a real shame as a couple of the players we bought this summer could have been great for us under an actual decent manager. It's utterly depressing having to watch that bollocks though.
-
It's the definition of madness, trying something repeatedly expecting a different result. It's still nowhere near as bad as this stage last season but McFuck has to go. He couldn't motivate a diddler in a crèche..
-
a few Xanax would make watching this marginally better.
-
He got lucky with a bit of a bounce both with us and then his new employers, but the players he manages will eventually be Pardewed.. it's inevitable. I saw a comment on the bbc live football thing last weekend, some fan from another club posted a comment bringing up how everyone gave us a hard time over how Pardew was treated and that basically we were right all along. And we really were. I fucking hate Pardew, way more than any other manager we've had over the last 20 years, even Allardyce and most definitely our current dingbat.

It will be down to establishing context, if he did indeed move his car to a more secluded place it shows he meant business. Being in the back of a Chinese should really say it all but i suppose every person is entitled to a fair trial which means checking facts or evidence given. I would say the digital penetration charge will probably stick, the other whether it happened or not is much harder to prove. I wonder how much he's shitting it right now?
-
He could be taking his loved one's out for a nice Chinese tonight if he gets off on just the two nonce charges
-
Get in Leicester. Really hope they can hang on this year, they've been fantastic.
-
The club probably knew as much as the public did back then, i still think they were duped by him. No way he would have owned up to all of that. His quick u-turn was probably when his legal team had a good look at the evidence and knew he was up the jaxi, it would have taken months for the police to get the relevant court orders to see all the electronic correspondence. The sacking of him will have been in response to that.. the PFA need to conduct a proper investigation though, as it's them who are advising clubs to continue playing these scumbags. Ethically i think Sunderland had a responsibility to remove him from public appearances (i.e playing for them) until the trial concluded, even if purely based on the allegations as kiddy fiddling is all the rage these days when it comes to a good ol' fashioned media frenzy. They'll throw this bint under the bus now to save their reputation, hopefully there'll be a lot of fall out in the weeks to come.
-
I still give the club the benefit of the doubt. He lied to the police first time around and also on his first court appearance. The club will have been given a watered down version of events. If that is the case, the club should have every right to sue him for every penny he earned over the last year or so, as he was essentially acting in bad faith. The standard was set by Chelsea over Adrian Mutu, not that they ever received any of the money they were awarded but it probably severely restricted his options in the future. Johnson will most likely be given 6 months at least so any damages the club claim on could be seized much easier.

the 1st pic was huge..

The club have been sleepwalking into a relegation for a while now. Nothing was learned by end of season last year. Ashley just can't seem to get anything right when it comes to this club. He put the money up as he said he would this season, only this time he put the wrong people in charge to spend it. The season will continue as is while McClaren is here and if he stays, the only thing that will keep us up is how shite the other teams around us might be. Sunderland look the more likely to survive at this point.
