Didn't want to write him off in January or February, but come march I was accepting he wasn't the same player anymore. Today he looked as fit as he ever has for us, hopefully it continues

This has to be up there as one of the worst posts I think I've read on this forum ever.

Brilliant management of the game, knew when to light a fire under the players and the subs all felt spot on. 3-1 up on a game we're looking scrappy and deciding to bring on 3 attacking choices instead of trying to rest on the lead shows how dedicated he is to this unrelenting press from the front for the full 90minutes. I'd love to see their fitness plans they use to condition the players for the intensity expected of them, especially in periods with congested games like this

Pretty sure there's now more Newcastle fans then west ham in the stadium
-
Calmest finish ever as Isak watches it go in, get in
-
As scrappy as this game is, they look terrified when we're attacking, were change play so quickly and directly it's throwing them off. The only thing that's feeling uncomfortable is when they come down our left hand side and attack burn
-
Emerson surely will have an early finish today, seems like such a liability for them right now
-
Moyes doesn't look impressed with that
-
Gordon running at Emerson may be enough to draw a second yellow from him as well. Funny how it feels like we've been underperforming that half and the stats still don't look bad for us. Does show how far we have come in the quality we expect of the team now
-
Couple balls into the middle of their box that we just didn't attack then, I feel like that lay off from Maxi in particular Isak would've been there. Team needs to wake up next half otherwise we're going to throw this away

Brunos ability to pull all kinds of tricks to turn past on players is amazing
-
Well read from pope
-
Poor start and 2 up in 15 minutes. I'll take that
-
Perfect from Maxi there as well, great finish from Wilson
-
Would concede a lot of goals, but would be fun to watch Given Maxi Ben Arfa Beardsley Shearer
-
We've been conditioned to wait for the wheels to fall off, we could be 4 points clear of 5th in the final game of the season and still expect to somehow miss out
-
Chelsea, I always feel like their take over was when money started getting thrown around stupidly, and changed the scope of the game. and while we are the latest beneficiaries of it, I detest everything that chelsea stands for, they feel like a hollow club, and if they disappeared the league would not be worse off for it. They're just Millwall with money.

Games being on at stupid times here, I tend to watch them when she's gone to bed on the weekend, or getting up before the family is up to watch them. Probably the only benefit of the games time really

Wake up decide to check the result, open PL app, spurs 1-0 up, but disappointed but not surprised. Open the match to see what happened. Score is 1-1, get in!
-
Don't stop there, should crucify him on the Angel of the north to really drive home the point, while it's wearing a shearers shirt.
-
Going to say at a 6 still, though if we beat spurs I'd probably move up to an 8
-
Dont think he's our most player anymore, I think trippier deserves that, but Maxi is definitely the most exciting player we have, when he has the ball he can do just about anything at all. I still think as frustrating as he can be at times he's growing into his new role within the team more each week

No chance Potter could've turned down the Chelsea opportunity, even if it was obvious the owners insane. There's always a revolving door of managers coming through that mid table pack of clubs, but how many of them really get a chance to step up to the clubs that regularly compete for silverware, knocking back the chance he would know he could just as easily not get another opportunity. Now he's had the chance, had a payday and drop back into that realm and try something new, this won't have tarnished his reputation, with the mid table clubs if he wants a job there. Or he can take some time off to learn more then look to come back stronger like Eddie did

McTominay was never going to be anyone's first choice signing for us, but if that's who the club wants, there has to be a reason behind it, and after the last 18months, they've want enough goodwill that we should trust their reason. End of the day, our squad is so thin at the moment, even if he ends up being a bench player, he's better then other options we have to bring on at the moment so the increase in quality of the depth of our squad is still a positive
