Irankunda is an exciting prospect, crazy he's only 17 as well
-
Easiest way for him to get an early holiday before next season as well to point the finger at ownership, can't see levy letting that go

One of the things I've loved since the take over is that the players still feel grounded and the atmosphere amongst them feels like they really appreciate the fans and what it means to the supporters. I think even though Burn will be replaced as a starter in the not too distant future, keeping him around the squad will continue to help keep this feeling amongst them, players like him will be essential in explaining what it means to play for this club and the history of it. He's the player that any fan could relate to, worked hard and taken the long way to finally represent the club he loves, it'll be a sad day when he finally hangs up his boots.

Not an exciting line up, but can see the logic behind it, Almiron will give more defensive cover, Wilson more of a target up top then Isak who looks better picking the ball up deeper. Biggest concern is the lack of Schar and having Lascelles on in his place, but considering how little Lascelles has played this season, I'm assuming there's a valid reason that he's been picked to start. Going to be a tough game no matter what

Yeah Bruno feels like he's completely onboard with the project, he may have signed initially seeing it as a stepping stone, but the way he talks about the city, club and fans, I think he's realized it's something special to be a part of.

Well I'd rather lose at Wembley then be scared of being relegated in February. Still been a great season so far, and it's early days in our rebuild. Genuinely think that in 5 years time when we're much more developed in the plan, we will look back on this season with fond memories, the backline, the unbeaten run and clean sheets, Miggy's purple patch and a cup final, and with a bunch of players that seem like they're a good bunch

Sabitizer and Sancho compared to Ritchie and Murphy subs, squad needs so much overhauling

Bruno looks like hes in alot of pain

Weve not been bad, even after the first goal we responded well. Second goal though we look rattled, and started lashing out, I can see one of our Brazilians getting sent off while going in with too much emotion

Fuck off
-
Giving the team a breather I hope

Dalot is going to be second guessing himself all game now

Got a good feeling about Maxi tonight

Sounds like your south of the border from me, 230am kick off here, ive told work not to expect me in the office Monday morning though. We've got a house full of inlaws family, half of them sleeping in the lounge room, I've warned them that they will be watching the game with me if they're here tonight still. Can't believe how fucking nervous I am for this game, still not letting myself get optimistic about the result!

Probably a stupid question, if it's the owners who are responsible for this financial cheating, is there a chance that the league could remove their standing as being fit and proper and so unable to own the club any longer forcing it to be sold off?

Most seemed to be happy with a top 10 finish to the season, we're still on track to achieve more then that. Even if our form has dropped, season is 38 games long and we were always going to have dips, the intensity we started with could never be maintained with the squad depth we have. Were still 17 games undefeated. Adding to our squad in January would've been nice, but getting enough in to continue a top 4 push would've taken massive cash at a time that there's not great value for money. Just need to keep getting patient and enjoy the ride Plus we're in a cup final!

The owners have shown that they home no value for their history, how can they celebrate any trophy now when they know they would sell it given the chance
-
For all the shit Ashley put us through, the way Jonas was treated during his battle with cancer really is the worst of it. The club couldn't even manage the most basic of defences. We've come so far since then thankfully

Would be great having a full strength squad against Liverpool, but I would bet good money that Bruno being out for 3 weeks because of a silly mistake will have him completely fired up for the final and go in with a point to prove

“I’m not thick. I know this club is going to evolve and go only one way. But while I’m here, I just need to keep progressing, get the manager to get the best out of me & me repay that with performances. Hopefully I can be here for a good few years. I want to show the club that I warrant a couple more years." Really like Shelvey, he's played an important part of the team over the last 7 years and I wish him all the best at Forest

Australia's biggest issue is that there's too many influential people that are invested in football not succeeding here in a professional capacity. While we had a brilliant world cup run, I'll be the first to admit I was completely won't with my expectations on how I thought we would perform. It still does nowhere near enough to help drive the standing of the game up here. The hope that after the 2006 qualification by our golden generation that the generation should be arising now would be better. But the league is short cash, making decisions not in there next interest of the fans, there's a disjoint between our semi professional leagues and top flight and the investment into youth is inconsistent at best. Until these are fixed our attendances will continue to languish and we won't get the quantity or quality of players that we need. Whether I like it or not, heading to hearts is an improvement for him and will give him a much improved chance of success then if he had stayed on loan at central coast.
