Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)
HaydnNUFC replied to David Edgar's topic in Football
Always remember when he was going to start doing it 'his way' and the 'gloves were off' and proceeded to get twatted 3-0 away at midtable Arsenal. -
-
He kept us in games on his own in 2019-20, Bruce's first season in charge. Hate to think how many points he earnt us that season. Darlow played about three fifths of the COVID season but once Dubravka come back in he's been as dodgy as he ever has been since.
-
Aye, matched Shearer's record for us. He's been probably all round better under Howe though imo, just sans the goals.

Always worth a quote.

Been absolutely twatted in 3 of them.

Pivan Poney strikes again.

Should've been a second yellow that. Shite decision.

Scored for Sociedad v Barcelona first game of the La Liga season as well.

We were a fucking shambles, man. Look at the absolute state of this.

Warra memory from this fixture. Good times.

Dear God, please sign him and let him do similar to Baldwards. -
First I've ever heard or read owt like that. He's married and has bairns doesn't he? Fuck me.

Still none the wiser here.

Will more than likely be midweek in May. They have a sizeable backlog of fixtures due to the Queen croaking it, issues with the rail strike(s) what problem that creates with fans getting to their games and FA Cup rescheduling. They're at home to Grimsby in the quarters so should get to the semis, meaning another game of theirs is getting postponed.
-
Brighton are a bit overrated on here imo. They're also going to have mad fixture congestion given their FA Cup commitments.

Feel like pure shit just want to see Alex Isak run on to the end of a perfectly weighted Bruno through ball to score a winning goal in front of the Gallowgate.
-
Isak's injury that he suffered this season was the first long term one he's had in his career.
-
Be more than happy to see Isak and Wilson together, has looked like it could be useful in the very limited time we've seen it. Especially v Fulham. But I don't want to see Wilson starting at the expense of Isak anymore, it doesn't make sense now.
-
What I want to see v Wolves: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Targett, Bruno, Longstaff, Willock, Gordon or Murphy, Isak, ASM. I would take: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Targett, Bruno, Willock or Longstaff, Gordon, Isak, ASM, Wilson When everyone's available: Pope, Trippier, Schar, Botman, Targett, Bruno, Joelinton, Willock, Gordon, Isak, ASM

Had a look back to the start of the season, posted that back in August and I stand by that tbh. 8th now, whilst a far cry from Ashley, Charnaz and Stephen Roger would be quite the collapse. We were briefly 2nd after Boxing Day and have been 3rd for a good chunk of the season. To miss out and allow Fulham, Brentford, Chelsea or others to also finish above us would be quite disappointing. End of the day we can still win our games in hand and be back in the top 4. Man Utd and Spurs still have to come to SJP. We just have to start putting the ball in the back of the fucking net.

I would die for this man.
