  1. Aye, the cans and from draught. Not blown away to be honest, thought it was like a weak tasting Beamish. Nitrosuuuuurrrrrrge though. Drink it like its watta.
  2. Guinness in tonight for another knackering late stay up. Nee knob gifs this time.
  3. Probably necessary but still gutted all the same.
  4. It was. I sorted out my dad's due to him being shit with computers and was able to select seats. He was in pot 3 iirc.
  5. It's got to be similar to Wembley surely? You're successful in a ballot to get a ticket and you go through and then pick your seat? Imagine if a pensioner who can't walk too far without being knackered gets given a seat on L7, or a student/young lad aiming to get a seat in the 18-21 section in the Milburn-Leazes corner gets put in the Platinum Club and asked for 70+ bar? Rancid if that happens, like. Especially for me personally, as I've been buying my old ST seat I had from 2016-2019 to be next to my dad and been successful in all but 3 matches last season.
  6. I've no idea if this goes some way to explaining that or not, but here anyway. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023–24_UEFA_Champions_League#Distribution
  7. Some save from Pope at the end there. Good run out. Fizzled out as a game that last 25 minutes or so. Ah whey. Bags under me eyes are darker than Dot Cotton's lungs. Up at 9am as well. Fuck sake. Going to look like a Feral Ghoul.
  8. State of Gallagher. Rather have Liam or Noel in the middle of the park.
  9. Anthony Gordon stocks fully invested in this season for me, like. He's going to be class.
  10. Class from Gordon. Almirón's been lively as well tbf, well taken goal. We've been vulnerable immediately after turnovers and the backline looks slow. Haven't been able to get Isak in the game at all, he's been poor tbph. Not worked Kepa enough as a team overall. Pointless microanalysing friendlies but I can't help it.
  11. Not been able to get Isak involved at all. Barely had a touch of the ball.
  12. Aye; Gordon, Isak, Barnes, Almiron and probably Willock are the only players in the squad with genuine pace. Especially now Maxi's gone.
  13. All of the top PL sides do, mind. Man Utd aside atm maybe. Sides in pots 1 and 2 of the CL will as well.
  14. I agree as well but feel that the next main CB we buy will, hopefully anyway, be Schär's long term successor. So it'll be a right footed Botman with pace essentially that we look for but the fee that would take would be a FFP-affecting one you'd think.
  15. Proactive from Miggy there, taking his man on and trying to put a cross in. Needs to do that more.
