Genuinely thought he only needed decent coaching from a competent manager and set of staff and he'd turn into a decent option. In Howe's first few games in charge he was actually decent and I thought he was coming into his own a bit, but got injured at Anfield and hasn't been seen since besides the odd friendly and cup appearance.
