Forest, Southampton and Bournemouth imo. Think Everton will still get enough points at Goodison a la last season and Wolves will start to improve under Lopetegui.
-
Surely that's a pen?

Think its absolutely huge that we play 4/6 of the 'big 6' as well as Brighton at SJP in the second half of that season.

“I want people to dream about their football club. They should, we should all be dreamers at heart. Some people are the opposite and say ‘we can’t do that’, but when you ask them why, they can’t give a reason. Well, I say, ‘Why not?’” - Kevin Keegan

In here and in the Benitez thread from 15 January onwards, a truly fantastic read.
-
Should've sacked him in January and replaced him with Benitez, I believe.
-
Was in the away end for that, proper grim stuff. We've just been a completely different side and club as a whole post January.

I remember when we lost 0-3 at home to Leicester almost two years ago to the day; how grim it was, how dead of a footballing institution we were and how many lightyears Leicester were ahead of us. But look at us now, 2nd in the league, thinking about poaching one of Leicester's best players in the near future and talking about the top 4. Fuck me.

Thought he was brilliant today.

What a win and performance. Botman, Bruno and Wood outstanding. 2nd in the league (for the time being) man

State of that bloke trying to nick a shirt off that bairn. Fat bald cunt.

My. Fucking. God.

Sound has an echo for me as well.

Wilson will start to be phased out from next season, Isak will see to that.
-
Shelvey out for 6-8 weeks according to Ryder.
-
Wilson out with illness apparently. No Maddison in the squad for them though, still a winnable fixture. HTL.

Like our Boxing Day fixtures over the last decade or so; 2010-11 Man City (h) 2011-12 Bolton (a) 2012-13 Man Utd (a) 2013-14 Stoke (h) 2014-15 Man Utd (a) 2015-16 Everton (h) 2016-17 Sheff Wed (h) 2017-18 Man City (h) 2018-19 Liverpool (a) 2019-20 Man Utd (a) 2020-21 Man City (a) 2021-22 Man Utd (h) So I'm really not surprised.

Given the rule around Boxing Day where you have to play a club in relatively close proximity distance wise we've tended to get the Manchester clubs or Liverpool clubs. Add in Ashley level shitness, and it's no wonder the record is that bad.

Wouldn't care too much really but it would be nice to see a player who was here pre takeover do it.

Positivity just seeped into every part of the club once Ashley fucked off but primarily after our form picked up post January; the club's social media, the players in the media and on social media as well as obviously the fans. Don't remember a squad as together as this current one is; getting into scraps for each other on the pitch (Joelinton being the main culprit for that ) and such a miniscule detail but I can't recall the players almost always commenting on each others' Insta posts after games for example. Didn't feel this united under Benitez either given the Ashley presence in the background, especially post-January 2017.
