  1. Nah, he's finished here. Literally the most popular move they can immediately do is remove him.

Hope us 2021ers leave these twats lightyears behind; draw them in a cup when we're class and pummel them.
  3. Had my season ticket from 2007-08 to 2018-19 with my dad in the East Stand. Some shite in those years like will be devastated if I can't get it back.
  4. Well, at least I know where I'm doing my master's next year now.
  5. Block L, row R of the East Stand. Whole Gallowgate and East Stand is sold out.
  6. Which twat bought my seat for Spurs then
  7. Suppose it's this guy that will be our new chairman.
  8. My dream to get my ticket back next to me fatha but not at those prices. Time to start saving.
  9. Can't wait to be brandished a 2021er soon.
  10. Scenes when this is announced, he gets binned, we appoint someone competent and he rocks up with Norwich on 1st December.
  11. 2011-12 is the only season in which I've been conscious of goings on at the club where we've finished above 7th. As someone born in December 2000 I've literally had nowt. Benitez was the outlier, I love the man, still do, as he provided hope beyond anything I could've imagined at the time. He came when were 19th in the league in March after all, remember being giddy as fuck seeing him interviewed in those first few games. But aye, 2011-12, 2016-17 although it was Championship, 2017-18 and the second half of 2018-19 are the only seasons I actively remember enjoying. I just wanted change and I didn't care what that was in regards to Saudi ownership. As someone with my political views I should care about it but I just don't, some sort of change was all I wanted and here we are. I'm awake at 5 past 2 on a Thursday morning talking about NUFC. All I want is hope, plus a similar ride to 1993-94, and I'll be happy.
  12. As someone who's age has meant that I've only really known the Ashley era, been watching these since the news. Almost welling up, what a cunt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxn4bTm5O0E
  13. Conte would be a real statement of intent. Still wouldn't mind Howe.
  14. Think I picked the wrong game. 4:30, on Sky, first game. Fuck.
  15. Bought a ticket for Chelsea. Watch it fall through now.
  16. True but going off the history, our attendances only significantly fall when outside of the top flight. 1977-78 is the only top tier season in which crowds really fell, but it was primarily because we won 5 games out of 42 and sold Macdonald the season prior. The glamorous sham that is the PL has changed even that. We'll consistently see 42,000+ crowds, just like before the free tickets in 19-20 and just like in 10-11 for the reasons I think people still go. Can't be arsed to get annoyed about it and, well, meh. Apathy.
  17. Because we were in the second tier for those eras. Dinnis and 1977-78 is the anomaly as we had runs of 10(?) straight defeats in the league and got relegated. That could probably be likened to now, but top division football in the late 1970s is nowhere near the 'spectacle' for want of a better term than the PL is.
  18. It's an insight into the wider match goer. I don't want to turn this into a debate on them as it's fucking boring but the Ashley era for them under Bruce is just another shit period. Many on here don't see the club as NUFC anymore but they still do and this is just another awful era like McKeag and Smith, Ardiles were. Like Richard Dinnis. Et cetera. They don't question why they go because they always have. I've already accepted it tbh and don't bother gathering any energy getting annoyed about it, the bulk of SJP will always be that way and always will be until we drop out of the PL.
  19. "A Conservative supporter even before December’s election landslide" made me feel sick in the mouth. I thought he was actually alright as he's quite articulate in the wider media when it comes to how shit Bruce is. But how can someone from fucking Blyth or a town like Blyth support the party which has deliberately acted to their detriment for decades? Ugh.
  20. Christ almighty. I actually don't mind some of the TF lot as they articulate anti-Bruce sentiment and why he's so shit in the national media quite well, but fuck me. 'The Trust doesn't have a say in sacking Bruce, but we're going to continue to do nowt and just hope he gets sack in lieu of serving up relegation worthy dross every week'.
  21. I was in the East Stand, like. That experience has made me dad not want to protest anymore. The guy's in his 60s, done everything else prior, SP, Spurs boycott, Arsenal boycott, that walk-in. But getting grief for trying to do something to try and affect positive change at the club was too much like. Only something minute but that whole message, aye.
  22. It's what it should've been v Leeds. The fact we still have a likeable number of players is detrimental to it imo, it was easy to hate a lot of the post-January 2013-14 squad. A basic thing people that still go to the games should do is bring these banners into the ground and display them in the East Stand or somewhere where the cameras are looking at often: Would be far better than going to the games and doing nowt on top of that, because the former is not going to stop, as much as it probably should.
  23. Sack Pardew, yeah. Think when he went on Coaches' Voice on YouTube he pretty much said that that campaign coupled with the atmosphere at home to Cardiff in 2014 made his mind up about leaving. Still took Palace to come in, mind. I did the 11th minute late walk in with my dad and we got stick when we got to our row. 'That's done a lot of good, we're getting beat now' is what someone said to my dad, as West Ham scored on the 11th minute. That's made my dad not really arsed about protests anymore. Uptake was naff as well tbh, only probably around 1k. Still something though. Yeah the SD stuff was going on around July-October 2018? The online stuff anyway. There was a protest planned at Shirebrook where coaches would drive down full of people and they'd protest but it didn't happen and was an utter shambles iirc.
  24. I personally can see what Alex is saying but he's worded it in a way that makes him look like a bell end. I know he's not quite popular on here already (I'm a bit meh *shrug*) but he actually has the pull as a leading Trust member and probably the biggest NUFC related fan group in True Faith to get something together, or to endorse something. No idea what that would entail. But as @Danh1 says above, we do have far too many egos. Far too many Mick Martins, Wraiths, TF members, Trust members, podcast runners, YouTubers that will all clash when something tries to be organised. Look at the takeover, look at August 2018-January 2019, look at the Arsenal game 2019, look at now. It's an absolute mess. On top of all of that is general apathy. People can't be arsed with anything anymore, circa 10,000 walked away yet we will consistently see 42,000+ at games. People, myself included tbh, can't be arsed with protesting given the reception, attitude and general uptake of past protests have been, along with their results. Those banners that were outside SJP after abject defeats last season from November to March, get them inside the ground in front of cameras at games if people insist on continuing to go. Get them outside the training ground. Fucking remove lard arse from the dugout and apathy could well dissipate, I know mine will, where then we can turn towards the biggest problem at the club in Ashley.
