To those old enough to know, is there a bit of Andy Cole about this atm? Not in the sense of how he left as Cole I don’t think wanted to leave from what I’ve read and heard; his and Keegan’s fallout in October 1993 changed their relationship permanently and one of Keegan’s flaws is his inability to forgive misgivings apparently. But more in the sense of play style? Cole certainly didn’t go about it like a total cunt as this heinous fucker did. The 93-95 side was built for Cole to score goals and he was absolutely phenomenal for us as a result. Similar to how Isak was. Once Isak goes to a team that isn’t built in that way he fails to have the impact there that he did here similar to how Cole started life at Man United. We then adapted how we played in 1995-96 after sticking a short term plaster over the Cole shaped hole up front with Kitson and Cole then changed how he himself played at Man United compared to he at us, whether Isak can do that remains to be seen. Hopefully not, ideally he gets ravaged by a pack of XL Bullies as soon as possible.
