His injuries and stop-startness in and out the team since Brighton at home in 2022-23 has totally hampered him as a player. Been a proper shame as he was brilliant that season and I’ve been a fan of his but the fact of the matter is he has offered next to nothing since that season.

Weathered a first 20 where they come out flying and we’ve managed to make it like our first two away games a bit. Solid defensively but next to nothing going forward. The bit of hope in an attacking sense is some of Woltemade’s touches. Looks great in link up play and I wish Elanga was getting on a couple of the lay offs rather than Murphy or Willock. Game’s here for the taking. Please grasp it.

Being able to make that many changes is a luxury we didn’t have in 2023-24. But we looked hopeless going forward in this system at Leeds, Willock’s been largely poor since his injury in May 2023 and I find the management of Elanga odd. Why take him off after an hour if he’s going to benched? Odd selection, hopefully it’s a winning one.
