  1. Staveley rumours emerged at almost the exact same date last year.

  5. The lasses will be frothin' when I whip out me NUFC crest pen.
  6. Bournemouth - Palace maybe. Cardiff - Burnley definitely not.
  7. Real Madrid the only team letting my brother down for £163 from a 30p 13 fold accumulator.
  8. It's not wrong though, Me and others continuing to boycott after years of already doing so isn't an event and you're kidding yourself if you think the majority in SJP think like us. For a start, they still go after 11 years of this shit. Like I said, it was extremely hard getting anyone to protest/boycott when Pardew and McLaren were here to the extent that people on here were getting started on in SJP. See how far calls for boycotts get with Rafa as manager when he's directly asked the fans for support and emphasised how important it is, it won't happen and I think it's fair enough, but that's another point really. Once Rafa's gone it's a different matter though. I would expect that boycotts won't even need to be called for, but you never know, the last few years has been an eye-opening experience where the mindset of our fans and what many consider loyalty is concerned. Me and my dad are gone if Rafa isn't here.
  9. They should've won the league that season. Hammered Ferguson at OT, went 38 PL games with only 2 defeats. Shite football though.
  10. Plus the "they've got loads of fans, not a big club though" is one of the biggest cognitive dissonance examples I've ever seen.
  11. No one's on our side in Sky. Everywhere else, BT, BBC, most of the papers, know the craic. Carragher has been informative and good about us the last few times he's been on. True, but he's not covering our games every time we're on. And the fact that they wheel out utter bell ends like Wise et al and give them a platform to spout their lies and other utter shite kind of negates it for me.

  13. If you had to pick, 2011/12 or the first half of 2013/14 (The Remy, Cabaye etc side)?
  14. The Hoss would've done that with his eyes closed.
  15. That was the problem in the game last season. Plus Darlow being in net.
  16. State of the amount of empty seats.
  17. All last season. Man United (a) Watford (h) Chelsea (a) Leicester (h) Man City (a) Championship: Norwich (h) Fulham (h) Ipswich (a)
  18. From about February we created quite a number of clear cut chances. I remember Gayle missing good scoring opportunities and he should have scored 11-12 league goals really. Was all season tbh.
  19. Hopefully a much better performance in attack, we're going to need it.
  20. Aye. The problem is our transition, and even in the rare occasions we do make it forward on a break with some neat passing moves we make the wrong decision in the final third. Totally agree, but it takes doing it regularly to keep it going and we've just come off the back of 5 matches where we were never going to have much of the ball. If it gets to a couple more winnable matches down the line where we're doing nothing whatsoever when we have the ball, I'll worry then. Totally agree. Think a few of us are forgetting the bold there as well.

  22. I wouldnt say I was happy, but I agree with what you're saying. Likewise.
