Deserved. Limbs al owa in our end.

Class. Sets up the second half perfect for us if we keep up our solidity. Great from Almirón winning that free kick.

I think he's in a three. Thought Shelvey would've been back in. Obviously looking to be a bit more defensive and catch them on the break, which is fair enough. Bournemouth going 4-4 fucking 2. -
Lush, that.

Stick with 3 at the back with Lejeune, Fernandez and Clark or go 4 at the back with Lejeune plus one other in the middle? -
Wasn't what it said in the brochure.

Juve against Man City or Liverpool would be tasty.

Agree tbh and Alex Hurst from TF says the same thing. I think Rafa would allow it, but there'd have to be some sort of compromise. What Alex said was hypothetically if there were 10 players Rafa wanted in the next few windows, he'd relent and have 7 or 8 of those 25 or under. But would insist on at least 1 or 2 every now and then, like a 29/30 year old Salomon Rondon, or a 27 year old Lejeune, etc. Surely it's the sensible business plan? Secure your value with a few safe bets, in order that you can speculate on risks. It is. But Ashley doesn't do sensible.

Go back to around 20th October in this thread. Some absolutely awful opinions from the usual suspects.

Spot on. You forgot to mention he has all the creative talent of a cluster of colour blind hedgehogs...in a bag. But that assist to Rondón was straight out of the National Portrait Gallery. Like something by the Colourblind Hedgehog Workshop of Siena. That's very true and an excellent call, but i'm not sure he has the talent for disguise to get into a polar bear's only golf club by wearing dark glasses like many other support strikers in the Premier League can. Get rid.

Aye, would stick with the 3 away from home. Our front three away against these should have some joy on the break. -

Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

This. In an ideal world we'd sign an upgrade and keep him as a squad player/player who'd rotate in and out. -

That's no different to this place tbh at times. It's also a made up narrative/cherry picked tbh. I can't remember who posted their match thread yesterday, but plenty of their posters at the time said he should have been sent off and was lucky. Also it's no wonder some of them will hate us if we call them the scouse mackems Aye, it's a forced label to me, like. They've never been relegated from the Premier League, have a very good trophy haul, and absolutely hate Sam Allardyce. They're nothing alike and the label gives the mackems far too much credit. Plus neil's sound While I generally agree and have nothing against Everton, @thechicoazul on Twitter is a very odd individual when it comes to NUFC. -

When we went 4 at the back just after HT we looked to have more of a cutting edge in terms of carving out chances and pushing them back. They got behind us on the break a few times which is why Rafa has moved to the 5. But against poorer sides at home I wouldn't be averse to going 4 at the back, we looked better going forward. -

0-2. Almiron and Perez. -
State of that non decision.
-
Still our best passer of the ball. Him and Almirón could be class together. He just needs to be consistent, which is much easier said than done.
-
Banned for the next 2 apparently. 10 yellows.
-
Probably the best value for money for signing we've ever made.
