He's never recovered from that Cardiff display, as he was class at home to Spurs first game of the season. Real shame, but he's only 23. Still think there's a good player there but certainly wouldn't spend bloody £30m on him. Christ.

Was looking at the exact same site for one myself. Leaning towards an old Italian club top, Juve or Napoli probably. -

Could someone do me a lift from around Low Fell or the Gateshead Interchange on the day? (whichever's easiest) -
Really, he couldn't hit a barn door? He has a bit of pace but really does anything with it. When we went to a sort of 5-3-2 with him with more of a free role in that midfield behind Rondon and Perez before Almiron arrived I thought he was alright. Nowt more or less though. We need a quick(ish) player to carry the ball forward either on a break or to relieve pressure. I haven't seen Muto too much to know if he's quick enough to perform such a role but Atsu can, quality actually on the ball aside.
-
Atsu's fine, I think. End product poor more often than not but he's been okay when he's come in.
-
Almiron and Perez both come inside and act as some sort of second striker, the latter especially hence all of the goals he gets. Almiron stays wide a lot more than Perez though, probably due to the fact that he has 2 men on him every time he receives the ball with the defending team in front of him, so it pulls 2 defenders out towards him creating space behind for a runner. I can't see Muto having that same effect if he goes into Almiron's role so we'd have to rely on Ritchie getting forward a lot more for putting crosses into the box.

I love the start of the season when you've not had a dire summer which is something we're quite accustomed to unfortunately; warm weather, getting ahead of yourself if you win the first few games, seeing new players for the first time (again, I know) etc etc. Christmas period is class also, in fact that entire period between the international breaks. Just constant club football from November-March. Probably this period we’re in right now - Easter. for me. Internationals done and dusted, Champions League Knockout phase in full swing, weekend and midweek games. Feel like there’s football on every day of the week. This bit is great too, like. No breaks, weather turning out canny and it's the time where Perez turns into some goalscoring maestro.

Is it? The first two lines work, "We've got Mirandinha, he's not from Argentina" but the last two don't really fit: "he's from Brazil, he's fucking brill". Or do you add an extra syllable in like most chants that involve Wembley do?

To what tune was the Mirandinha chant to (the he's fucking brill one)?
