Yay it's last year all over again.

Wish he'd be bottom of the swimming pool, dead. Vile cunt.

"They’ve painted themselves into a corner good and proper." "That neurosurgeon should be operating far better with that knife and and fork that he's got."

Rafa seems to rate him. No idea why it's in this thread, like.

About time we got a result there tbh. Expecting nothing, like.
-
That atmosphere, though.

It had to go ahead today, I do think the boycott should be postponed but you have to spin it as listening to fans and it was an experiment in unity. Personally I think they’d be better off having a rethink and taking it nationally - utilising the sympathetic away support to protest a shop in every city they visit - throw their weight behind the London based action. Newcastle is too myopic in its thinking atm. Aye that's fair.

It's not giving up. It's keeping powder dry per se. If January is another shambles, appetite for protests is back up again. If January goes well, we break our record and sign someone like Almiron or someone of quality, the MG can claim partial responsibility for the from the early pressure in August-October.
-
not sure i get what you mean. Uptake is feeble. When Sky mention next Sunday that there's a planned boycott before the game and hardly anyone is boycotting, that's only bad publicity for the MG, not Ashley. Appetite for protests just isn't there anymore. Today shows that.
-
Like I posted the other day, the group need to save face and cancel the boycott and halt any planned protests inside the ground. Today goes to show why they need to.
-
There were a few where we were who were doing the walk in yet were drinking their shite pints from the ground.
-
Wheyyyyy, a player we signed for £1.5m is having a poor game against £20m centre backs and now he's being taken off, wheyyyyyy. Absolute nonces.

Well, what a fucking pointless exercise that ended up being. They turned the TVs off when the game kicked off, me, my dad and about 100 others emerged after 11 minutes to a packed stadium and West Ham celebrating their first. Then Perez was jeered off the pitch and many left early. Grim. The 'boycott' is going to be utterly pointless. Not the concept and idea of it, the actual thing. Barely any, nowhere near the amount that took part in the Spurs boycott 3 and a half years ago will do it.

Newcastle United vs West Ham United - 01/12/2018 @ 15:00 - No UK TV

I hope so - the solidity & rigidity at the back last game gave us some real freedom going forward that I haven't seen from us in such a way in a while; with Kenedy & Perez almost taking up free roles and also allowing Diame to get forward a bit more as well I thought. Agree. Think we'll be letting them have the ball for most of it. -

Because Rafa's class. -
Think both protests should tbh. Why? They're going to fall flat on their arse, probably to the point of the media, mayhaps even Ashley himself just laughing at the attempts. That's due to a mixture of things, the Shirebrook shambles and subsequent loss of respect from some in the MG, recent form, the division caused by certain individuals and the fact the campaign has only had real publicity on Twitter. I think they'll end up going ahead and I'll be taking part regardless but I don't think it's right for them to go ahead. If January goes tits up the desire for many fans to protest is reignited, if it goes well the MG can claim partial responsibility for that from the initial pressure. Right now, after a good winning run and good performances with upcoming matches against sides around us in the festive period, desire to protest from many fans is not high. It's just not worth it. I thought you said you were boycotting wolves? Personally i think people should just do it, if not many others join in that's up to them, but if people feel strongly enough about it they will do it anyway. Like i am boycotting altogether, even if we get full houses, i don't feel like my protest is useless, it's what i FEEL is right, i'm not prepared to give him any more ticket money, and that's it. I am still taking part. No idea why it read to some like I'm against the MG or the idea of protesting. It just doesn't seem like uptake will be great and if that's the case the critics will be on the case. And I didn't mean arbitrarily cancelling it, just having someone press the question to Rafa and him answering something along the lines that he needs the fans for support in a crucial home game, and use that as justification. But given his answer regarding the walk in, he'll be diplomatic as per. Just my opinion like. Again, I'm not saying we shouldn't protest against the fat cunt. Anything but.
