Everyone on social media and the like complaining about our tactics because it was boring just backs up the point of whose game plan was working. Took a bent decision to break us down and open the game up.

Paul Lambert lost 8-0 to Rafa Benitez. Not going to bother watching that.

We've got to the quarter finals of this cup twice in the last 4 years. Admittedly, Pardew got there by accident, but y'kna.

The mumbling and laughing by the presenter and the other two there is what annoyed me tbh. The pro Ashley narrative completely and utterly picked apart and their response was that. Irked me for some reason.
-
'telling it how it is' klaxon.

Like that analogy. The Sky studio full of Douglas Haigs blasting Alexei Brusilov for not just hoying all his men in one clump towards the enemy machine guns.
-
Probably wants big British Al Pards. Knows the club, gets on with Ashley and plays the front foot football he craves. Real manager for real blokes.

Seems a small pocket of the more hardcore, singing section and some of the away crowd sing it but 95% of the stadium either are oblivious to it or just think the same as keys wise shola etc. Concerning What a load of unmitigated wank. How is it!?. Just as I posted it. What was there today then? Nowt basically other than the strawberry corner a couple of times and at Cardiff away a couple of loud chants It's the generalisation. Only the true hardcore fans hate Ashley and chant against him but the other 95% of the ground thinking the same as Richard Keys ffs.

Can't believe they asked Sarri if he'd ever seen Rafa being so defensive. Of course he wouldn't have because in Italy he had Insigne, Callejon, Mertens and Hamšik in his attack. ffs

As is Alex Hurst, so it's not totally bad.

Players fought brilliantly for a point there, but with the ref apparently being a bent fuck (I haven't seen any of it back) it wasn't to be. Was well on the way to 0-0. Shame. And without having read any of the thread back, this was just like Man City at home last season. Dickheads like Richard Keys saying he knows some fans that would rather lose 5-4 than win 1-0. Anyone having a go at Rafa for today is the living embodiment of that stereotype. The problem is Ashley, had he backed Rafa we would've had better players and be able to play a more offensive game. Heard Sky are peddling the same utter shite as they did for Man City at home then. They seem so offended by it. Stop televising us then you fucks. Only people who haven't had a go at us for playing like that were BT after Man City away last season.

Myth. West Ham away and Stoke away last season come to mind.

When this place hates the team we usually do well.

Wow.

Yep. Could tell he was getting really riled by the bullshit in the media regarding our 'unrealistic expectations' and all that rubbish. Shame about the paper he works for mind.
-
Nah, last home game the cunt was at was Spurs last season.
-
He genuinely loves the club, the city and us fans just as much if not more than Liverpool. He's desperate to stay because just as the article says he's unlikely to get this level of adulation anywhere else. But he wants assurances, obviously putting the ball in Ashley's court one last time and he'll make his final decision after.
-
Aye. If for argument's sake he walked away now there'd probably be a week or so of ramped up protests before them dying down. Wanting someone fighting our corner inside the club to leave because protests might get more intense is outrageous imo.

Hughton livid there and understandably so.
