Set to be QPR manager apparently.

Assuming Swansea go down though, I wouldn't have anyone other than probably Mawson. West Brom? Maybe Evans, that's it. Stoke? Shaqiri is not someone I can see Rafa going in for. Southampton had a few decent players I wouldn't have minded but it's looking like they're safe.

Looking at the sides going down and thinking about which players you’d take from them is how Tottenham spent £30m on Sissoko.
-
If we're having to worry about relegation battles again then it's most likely that Rafa isn't here and so everyone will be going through the apathetic motions.

"It was too good a strike" The f*** does that mean? To the pet hates thread.

Only because Liverpool finished 8th the season before.

I agree with the sentiment. I personally laughed at the mackems last season whom some of which were claiming that they'd rather lose games in the PL than winning in the Championship. Get to fuck. August-mid December last season was fucking brilliant, the winning run in September, October and November, that Norwich game, the League Cup run, it was superb. Then Ashley came along in January and reminded us of the limits he puts on the club. Newcastle United should be in the PL, it's too big a club to be in the 2nd tier. It has the potential to be up there, fighting it out for a Europa League spot and going far in that competition, and perhaps being an outside contender for a CL spot. Ashley is the restraint for us, under him something remarkable must happen in a season to get us up there, like signing a player like Cabaye for £4.5m, signing a striker who'll get 13 goals in 14 games like Cisse did. So for us, I think it's a bit different.

It's a load of bollocks anyway. Isn't this meeting meant to be like about there not being enough loo roll in the bogs in the ground and not details on the transfer plans?

0-0 or 1-0 either way. Grim game. Then again, 5th time lucky against these cunts.

Great game of football, good watch. Bayern the better side, keeper's cost them in the end. Real winning it again, how exciting. -_-

Absolute sitter from Ronaldo. Look at the fucking space 3 Madrid players had there, man. Absolutely lifting defending.
-
Unreal save from Navas.

They've played that "Hala Madrid y Nada Más" tune after goals for a while now. Utterly tragic, like.

I don't get why some criticise the points system. Fans who put the effort, time and money in to do their trips to clubs far away, midweek away games over seasons gone by in which Newcastle United away from home have been largely absolutely dire, should get first dip on the closer and/or more attractive matches. Whilst me saying that can be a bit hypocritical as I have in the past and probably will in the future ask for tickets on here for matches my meagre 6 loyalty points can't get, it's as fair a system there can be. I would however slightly change the policy in allowing points to be earned for cup tickets bought home and away.

Would love to have him, but see ponsaelius' post.

What the actual hell are those Arsenal and Chelsea shirts, awful. Everton one's nice, mind.
