  1. It's the abuse that irritates me, people replying to Joselu's or Perez's or whoever's tweets with over the top grief. It's pathetic.
  2. Atmosphere at the Leicester home game is going to be quality I hope. Should be helped further by the extra drinking time a 5:30pm kick off provides.
  3. Is it due to the morals? Because Man City's owners aren't exactly from the most inherently moral place either and I doubt their fans care. I think it'll happen as well but when? I've no clue. I'm praying its within this month and/or next. Couldn't bear a transfer window in which we desperately need additions with this hanging over. I dunno really, I know most people who are fabulously wealthy will have shat on people and done some bad so morally i'd be a bit of a hypocrite if say I gladly welcomes the Arabs and not the Saudis, but the Saudis man are for me responsible for a lot of s*** in the world today and are a vile and nasty dynasty if you like. When we are winning the CL thoughI'm sure I won't be giving too f***s. Ideally, it will be respectable owners who want to grow the club organically and won't have ties to dodgy states, countries etc. They are like, but the bold sentence refutes it for me. I've spoilered a YouTube video I found quite interesting on where Man City's ownership and funds come from, they aren't entirely clean either but the fans don't really care one jot.

  5. West Ham have completely sold their soul moving stadiums. Ah well.
  6. Of course it is, but then again we are about as desperate as it gets for a striker of any quality. I don't think he gives us quality. How many appearances has he made since his move from Burnley? It won't be many. I know we'll be lucky to sign anyone in January if Ashley is still here but if we get taken over I'll want us looking for better quality than Danny Ings.
  7. Anyone else think it'd be quite an underwhelming signing or is it just me?
  8. Probably not but as far as Moyes goes he's done 3 awful jobs in a row since Everton. That's not a coincidence, it's not just Sunderland. False equivalence imo. Sunderland being absolutely s*** and being certain relegation fodder doesn't mean that he's not a s*** manager and vice versa. True but look at the garbage managers that did keep them up with arguably worse squads I don't think there's been a Sunderland squad anywhere near as bad as that in the Premier League aside from 02/03, and that went down with one of the lowest points totals ever. They completely stood still in terms of signings having just narrowly avoided relegation the season before. They were going down from day one imo. Was 05/06 not worse? They went down with 15 points that year.
  9. 2 in both the PL and Championship. 3 in the FA Cup. I genuinely don't think we'll be thrashed by anyone. Not even Man City. By thrashed I mean losing by 3+ goal margin.
  10. The verb "spunk" when referring to how much money a manager spends in a transfer window. "He spunked £70m in the summer."
  11. He'll keep them up but going from ambitions of breaking into the top 5/6 to Jabba the Hutt.
  12. Think we'll see some movement or at the very least some updates over this international break. Hopefully anyway.
  13. Think the decision to start Rodriguez instead of Casemiro proved catastrophic that game. It was a team selection to appease the president, it backfired spectacularly. Aye, remembering hearing or reading that somewhere.
  14. Think the decision to start Rodriguez instead of Casemiro proved catastrophic that game.
  15. If Pogba is still out I actually don't fear them and fancy us to get something. For whatever reason.
  16. Kieran Tierney? Celtic fans rave about him. But it's Scottish football.
