The worst PL side ever seen. They finished bottom with 11 points. They took 4 of those 11 points from an Allardyce-managed us. Including their solitary win of the season.

I've always liked him but I thought he was atrocious yesterday. Was poor at SJP. Him and Wimmer have been awful in the times I've seen them play.

I'm just treating the whole saga in terms of developments as "if it doesn't come from Caulkin, it's bullshit".

I really did think we were outstanding yesterday. Aye it's only Stoke who are very poor, but we bossed them on their own turf for 80+ minutes and if we had a clinical striker, we could've been looking at a 0-3 or 0-4 win. Seems as if Lascelles' rallying cry post-Everton has worked. Decent performances since then.

That’s really what we need to be looking at. Does anyone know how many points we had at this stage during the two relegation seasons? Can it be easily mapped/graphed? 2015/16 2008/09

I could see us getting 1 point from the next 5 games.

Either that, or a massive clueless w***** I don't even think a massive clueless wanker can say we should sack Rafa and call the man the "Spanish Tony Pulis" without being a WUM, like. I can't believe anyone can be so thick and think something like that.

Superb result. We were fucking outstanding there. Brilliant. It's almost like Rafa knows what he's doing.

Needs to improve his final ball. Off the ball when making runs etc, he's our only threat down one of the flanks. Ritchie stays in front of his man and doesn't try to take him on.

Would be harsh imo. Played well.

Thing that this has reminded me of so far is how cowardly McClaren was. Remember Stoke away under him, with far better players and coming for a 0-0? Here we've got the worst squad in the league and been at Stoke and could be 0-2 or 0-3 up.

Should be 0-1 up. How did Clark miss that, man. Good opportunities for Atsu early on as well. Perez has been great on the ball, and we've played the better football. Stoke are here for the taking here, they're utter shit.
