  1. Do you reckon he should be furious with himself then for backing Carr and creating the transfer policy that has caused us to have a load of rubbish on the books that we can't shift?
  2. The Daily Mail comments section on articles is f***ing AIDS, like.
  3. It's stupid. Why should home teams give the away team an advantage by having the typically more vocal away supporters closer to the game/players? Because it looks better on TV? Fuck off. Grounds away from home should be feared, it shouldn't have away fans coming up and feeling at home.
  4. So do I. I can't see it but I'll still support him at games.
  5. He parried 3 of the 4 straight to a Spurs player. The 4th was a curler by Chadli which I'm unsure whether he should've saved or not.
  6. Santon had an absolute mare as did Krul iirc. Another one of Pardew's masterclasses. The team for that game. Krul Debuchy Williamson S.Taylor Santon Anita Sissoko Gouffran Sa.Ameobi Cisse L. De Jong TBF compare with the team that won when Huntinton scored. Given Ramage Taylor Huntington Pattison Solano Butt Milner Dyer Martins Sibierski

  8. Do we ? Without checking, my addled brain has us both as run teams as in we both go on runs against each other, though I have to say we've won against them with some horrid line ups. They've won here twice in the last 10 seasons we've been in the PL. We've also won the last 3 at their gaff. At SJP 2015/16 W 5-1 2014/15 L 1-3 2013/14 L 0-4 2012/13 W 2-1 2011/12 D 2-2 2010/11 D 1-1 2008/09 W 2-1 2007/08 W 3-1 2006/07 W 3-1 2005/06 W 3-1

  10. 18 league goals in 82 appearances in 3 years for Schalke.
  11. Yup. It might be "boring and functional" to some, but at least we get to watch a group of players who know what they are doing. The possession patterns and the movement off the ball when we don't have it is very good to see compared to the clueless crap we've been served up for the past 10 odd years. We have flashes of some quality stuff as well, mind. Aye it was against Championship sides, but we played some great football last season, QPR away and PNE at home in the cup spring to mind.
  12. Wanyama, Son, Rose, Lamela, Trippier all out potentially.
  13. £10 adults £3 concessions, and it doubles in the day? It's a great pricing structure, pulled 49,000 in for a 4th round league cup game vs Preston last season.
  14. Agreed. Like the ambition of trying to get into the top 10 this season. I don't believe we can but it's refreshing.

  16. It's just lazy. "Townsend free to leave Palace, after they turn down £10m." He's not exactly free to leave if they're turning down £10m then are they? Only part of this that can hold any weight is the fact the Express & Mirror both get a smiliar story at around the same time. Could be Rafa's people leaking stuff to press again (which is a fucking joke that he has to do this to get people above him to do stuff) but other than that, I'm just dismissing it.
  17. I think I'll wait for more reliable sources on the matter. "Raging"

  19. No idea where to post this but Trippier went off injured for Spurs in their friendly vs Juve tonight. So they could be without Wanyama, Son, Rose, Lamela, and Tripper for next Sunday.
  20. Ha ha! I'm going on a stag with a lad I was with then so I'll be in a Hebburn boozer in 45 minutes!
