The champions of kicking off since 1789 but imagine going out before the football on a Monday night looking for a scrap? Like, could you actually be arsed? Freaks.

What ever happened to just having a few pints and a bit craic?
-
We need something from this to keep any hope of progression. Tough ask but this team and manager continue to exceed expectations with the injuries we have. HTL. Wish I was there tomorrow.

Fuck sake. Will have to make do with Everton spaces tonight.

Goal of the season.

Refer you to bobbydazzla's post.

And you'd likely be able to get in if not for a ballot system which is decreasing your chances as the season goes on due to unlimited membership. Or you can spend time refreshing the stadium map for hours on end the couple days before the game itself. And eh? I meant they can get tae fuck criticising the atmosphere when the changes they/their employees have implemented for this season have impacted it for the worse.

Probably only the 2nd seat out of the 5 ballots I've won where I've been happy with the seat, yesterday. Was in block F of the East Stand so near the Corner, canny view and great lads around me who all sang most of the game and I was able to have a bit craic with. Complete antithesis of where I got a seat for Palace (low down, shit view, was asked to sit down when I stood up when Murphy was played through on the break, no one singing). Got a bit annoyed at the owners having a pop when it's the changes they've implemented that have played a huge role in why the atmosphere is the way it has been. Randomly allocated seats, ballots and unlimited membership, corporate getting huge chunks of away tickets (40% of the Luton allocation ffs ) Sort it out or get tae fuck.

Canny afternoon's work that like.

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?

Was okay and quite quick before I discovered beer. -
So Man City can still loan Girona players and Forest can still loan Olympiakos players? Heh. Doesn't have the same ring. Wasn't ever going to happen anyway, just a story that was bound to get attention and clicks.

Dubravka was also great for us for his first 3 years here. Changed us for the better in 2017-18 and saved Bruce's skin countless times in 2019-20. After his injury that kept him out for most of 2020-21 he was not the same at all.

Pope has saved 5 penalties out of 10 for us, including the pens in the shootout against Palace in the League Cup last season. (3 v Palace, 1 v Brentford, 1 v Leeds) Mitrovic had one disallowed for Fulham for double kicking the ball but I think Pope would've saved that one as well had he not double kicked it. Given saved 6 penalties for us out of 48 faced.

Best team from what I've seen after my first game, in January 2006. Pope Trippier Schar Coloccini Enrique Bruno Cabaye Tiote HBA Wilson Isak Not a fan of putting Isak LW but struggling to think of a LW outside of ASM, and keeping Isak or Wilson out in favour of ASM is too harsh on both imo. Botman will eventually surpass Schar in this team in the next few years providing he continues to improve, but Schar has been by far our best CB over the last 2 years. Was brilliant in that 3-4-3 we played in Benitez's last few months here as well. Probably the best value for money signing we've made in recent memory.

Yellow and green kit is very nice, home kit is absolutely lifting. Should be the current crest on all kits though.

Get your yachts on Bramley Moore Dock now, lads.

Sometimes, but am standing over the bog for a good few minutes immediately after waking up in the morning more often than not.

Hangxiety is the bit about drinking sessions I hate the most. Necking a couple pints of water before bed eases the headache but the anxiety when you can't remember anything is hideous. Immediately fly through my bank account and messages to see if I can get an inkling to what the hell happened and if I admitted something too far or upset anyone.

On the commentary discussion, always feel obliged to bang the Daniel Mann drum. Think he's class personally, massively underrated and gets nowhere near as many games as he should. Did loads of our games in the Championship under Benitez and the opening match this season against Villa.

Think we tried for him on loan in January 2022 iirc.
