  1. Corner was decent but every atmosphere at every 12:30 kick off at every PL ground has always been shite.
  2. He's an abysmal footballer in possession who's needed replacing for a while now. Utterly lifting today.
  3. Whey, that was fucking lifting. Worst league result of Howe's tenure. Wood hattrick ffs
  4. Personally think we need a RW, CB, GK and a more defensive minded midfielder which we certainly won't get all of in January. Maybe 2 of those at best. Unsure whose available out there who'd make a big difference. Remember us being linked with Nico Williams at Bilbao for a wide man but he signed a new contract at the start of this month. Kalvin Phillips keeps on being linked as well but unsure if Man City will deal with us favourably ie a loan with an option to buy. We need incomings though.
  5. Was after a reference to Silent Night and Christmas number 1s I believe. Either way I can't stand him. An outrageous, try hard bellwhiff. Send in the XL bullies.
  6. Losing to Cambridge at home is/would be worse but I agree losing to the mackems would be rancid beyond belief. Lose-lose situation for us, its why I never wanted to play them ever again.
  7. Fucking hell do I despise Drury. Cringe as fuck.
  8. Fully agree with the 1st paragraph, but my personal main criticism is we've been largely poor away from home since we stuffed Everton at Goodison in April. Its now almost January and a few of those away games/performances were before this freakish injury list got as big as it did.
  9. He's played more games not under Bruce than under Bruce. We needed a RW in the summer and we still need one now.
  10. He has 6 PL assists since he signed for the club in January 2019. 6 assists in 5 years, man.
  11. Who we should have went for but the club opted to go elsewhere in the summer according to the Athletic. Maddening.
  12. I was expecting a leggy, grim game of football but not a performance where we were outfought, which is unacceptable.
  13. Abysmal performance and result. Away form and performances are getting a bit of a joke. Outfought and outplayed by one of the worst teams in the league who until today had yet to keep a clean sheet. There comes a point where giving them the benefit of the doubt doesn't wash anymore. We've been poor away from home for months now.
  14. You can only give them the benefit of the doubt so many times, though. 2 away wins since the end of April; its almost January. Everything about that first half was pathetic and not what this side is about.
  15. Only video I could find of us playing them down there without losing.
  16. Brighton I fully agree on as they just got the goals this time but not a chance were we better at Man City this season than last imo. Wilson and Joelinton fluffed 3 glorious chances, Gordon also miskicked the ball when played through early on. We also had more possession last season. Don't remember a single chance back in August. I felt we were quite lucky at Wolves this season with Neto going off soon after they equalised. He stays on and they probably win. Last season they set up deep after taking the lead, took us a wonder goal from ASM to get the breakthrough admittedly.
  17. Like much of the promotion team should've been shipped out in 2018. Indictment on the previous regime but giving him an extension was odd. Even more bizarre is the persistence of bringing him on with Hall sitting on the bench every week. Do not understand it at all.
  18. Again I agree but at the same time we've been largely crap away from home all season. Seem to completely lack a plan B outside of sitting deep and inviting pressure. It's the 19th December and we've had 2 away wins in all competitions since April. Feel like this seems overly negative/harsh like from myself after tonight but yi kna. I know but we've been poor away from home for a while (feel like this may derail the thread as I'm not miffed or attributing tonight to anything else other than injuries). We didn't have any influence at Man City on the game despite having 41% possession, fairly hefty for a team away at thr Etihad. We were much better there last season. Outplayed comprehensively at Brighton. Lucky to get a point at the San Siro. Hammered the worst team in the league. Really poor first half at West Ham, much improved second, couldn't see it out after taking the lead. And that's before the injuries.
  19. True but we've been pretty crap away from home all season aside from 2 games and some of those games were before the injuries.
