  1. Wasn't explicitly stated tonight but Spurs being the club that didn't shake NUFC's directors' hands and have sent the most messages lobbying against the takeover et al was more or less confirmed or reiterated as well. That Kane's fucking off today as well after hearing that is just *chef's kiss*.
  2. The point about everyone in the league and media underestimating us again I agreed with and the Bruce-Keith Downie anecdote which was funny aside, it was pretty much all opinions and stuff we already knew.
  3. Very much. Glad to be hyem.
  4. There was fuck all in regards to transfers from tonight besides what Downie "thinks might" happen; could spend £35m-£40m on a LB, could also look for a loan with an obligation to buy in that position. Then it turned into how great a bloke they all thought Dan Burn was. Glad I didn't pay myself for it, put it that way.
  5. Going to ask Hope about just how feasible is it that a £75m budget can leave the atmosphere. Can't wait.
  6. I'm at that TF journalist event tonight after being given a free ticket for it #mackem Caulkin, Hope, Douglas and Downie all there. I'll report back any interesting patter if there is any.
  7. Maybe it's my East Stand tinted specs as that was where my ST was, where I try and get a seat every match and all my mates I go the match with and my dad all still have their STs there but I like the Brutalist look of it juxtaposed with the Georgian architecture of Leazes Terrace. Then you walk down Terrace Place and turn around and look at the stadium; Georgian buildings, Brutalist structure and the glass cantilever structure of the Milburn and Leazes from 2000. Architectural history literally within a stone's throw of each other, personally think it looks class. Again, that's maybe just me. It's obviously dated now: was built during the 1972-73 season and I imagine, like the rest of the ground, has had no major architectural change or restructure since the expansion to L7 in 2000 when the black and white seats and executive boxes ay the front of the stand were taken out.
  8. 33k empty seats? Must be a result of King Kev Mohammed bin Salman going house to house, knocking on doors in South Tyneside and County Durham and handing out free Sky dishes fire sticks and declaring the North Sea is retreating so its okay to now support Newcastle.
  9. Go to Molineux in October, play them at SJP early March.
  10. Can get 11/1 for that to be the bottom 3 any order on SkyBet rn. Just thrown a tenner on it.
  11. Aye. Going to the football for a scrap with blades and shit. Like could you actually be arsed? Just go to the pub or something.
  12. Take it that's Valentino Lazaro?
  13. Liverpool, Brighton and Leicester came close I think. Man Utd probably too.
  14. Outrageously lucky and was straight on, didn't see which number. Assumably top 50.
  15. Was lucky and got a ticket. As overjoyed as I am the system is still beyond shit.
  16. Well one or two such changes could be they actually allow the ticket to be transferred or sold back to the club?
  17. Was an emergency one, don't know too much other than that. The club have fucked up ticketing so much it'd be hilarious if it wasn't a disgrace.
  18. Posted this in the ticket forum so I'll put it here as well. Mate who was successful in the ballot applied for Category 2 assuming it was the Gallowgate/Leazes, been given tickets in Level 7. He had a gall bladder operation the day before yesterday and can hardly walk up the stairs in his own house, let alone to Level 7. Got charged £44 for it and also can't sell the ticket as members' tickets are untransferable. Great stuff from the club. Superb.
  19. 13 minutes, man. Going to take some getting used to, this.
  20. Fuck sake. Should've been 0-3 30 seconds ago with a better decision on a 2v1.
  21. The North Sea's tide is in.
