It's saving me a bit of money tbf. We have the nicer away fixtures (on paper) this side of Christmas. Vice versa with the home games. We know how good we can be at SJP (though we've not seen it yet this season in an admittedly tiny sample size) so I want to see a vast improvement in the level of performances away from home in this next batch of matches. We've been poor for far too long. Sort it out and we can have a really, really good season.

Realised 4 of our next 5 games before the next international break in all competitions are away from home. The one home match being against Man City. Big opportunity for us to sort out being a competent football team away from the NE postcode.

We didn't know what league we were going to be in for most of those first 6 months tbf. Money needed to be committed to keeping us up, or getting us up if we went down.
