I agree as well but feel that the next main CB we buy will, hopefully anyway, be Schär's long term successor. So it'll be a right footed Botman with pace essentially that we look for but the fee that would take would be a FFP-affecting one you'd think.

Too easily cut open there like. As defensively good as we were last season we only had 2 clean sheets from February until the end of the season. We also only won 1 away match last season where we kept a clean sheet. Been something leaky about the backline for a bit, as daft as it sounds given they were the joint best defence in the league last season.
