  1. without wanting to be (too much) of an apologist for Beardsley, the club did fuck him off to Carlisle first.

  6. Does this forum have an ignore user option? There's some absolute cock knockers posting on this thread. I could do without having to read their shite in future.
  7. 'We've got the Meadow Well Moonrunners right by the Elswick Road Rangers. Nobody is wasting nobody.'
  8. No one ever said it would be this hard this hard? lol.
  9. No one said this was going to be easy. The problem with money men like Ashley is they know pretty much nothing about football. The combination of a physically tough league, dubious referees, bans and injuries was always going to have an impact. I don't blame anyone for feeling apprehensive about Raffa after everything we've seen and experienced under this ownership, hopefully this bad patch for the team will be sorted and we can move on.
  10. I was thinking of your post from earlier in the day when I was watching that interview last night.

  12. Anderson is the kind of bloke who slags off his arse when he's having a shit.
  13. aye hockle is spit. You can howk up a proper greenie to hockle though, as well as get a proper howking (filled in) if you don't behave.
  14. It is partly a territorial thing. Spurs fans feel they are the original North London club as Arsenal began life as "Royal Arsenal" based in Woolwich (South of the river), subsequently chaning their name to "Woolwich Arsenal". They only became "The Arsenal" when they moved to Highbury and Spurs apparently feel aggrieved that they moved to their territory from South of the river Thames, so they refer to them by their origins as a South London based club. I think. There is probably more to it than that. I think Arsenal fans could argue that Tottenham as an area was part of Middlesex until way after they moved to Highbury, thus contesting the whole "original North London club" or whatever. Arsenal are known as the Woolwich Nomads by my THFC supporting mates.
