Ah fuck. Throw in coaches are going to be a thing in fm22, aren't they?

Another factor that might come into play is morale. 5 days at that training ground could depress the hell out of you.

I was just having a laugh about the state of our facilities. But in reality [although I did mention that the situation could be improved] getting the squad up to the professional standard that we need will be difficult for anybody. I've no doubt that come January we will be in a position to improve, but it all depends what position we are in, come that time. The lack of fitness is a real concern, they probably ned to go through an entire pre-season programme, whilst playing competitive games, injuries piling up. If we were in January and only 3-4 points adrift I wouldn't have a concern.

Aye, but we're using those facilities 5 times a week now. It's an accident waiting to happen.

I think you are overestimating our training facilities. Easily improved by going somewhere else temporarily, but it's not a solution.

Still love this mad bugger.

Bloke had 3 days to prepare an unfit squad for a game against a team who are looking good. If nothing had changed nobody would have expected anything other than a convincing defeat. He did a decent job. We kept it at 0-0 for as long as our fitness allowed. And he made subs, that changed the game. We struggled towards the end but somehow managed to stay lucky [not the disallowed goal]. If we stay up by one point then it's this one.

Could just be his agents playing dirty in the Dutch press.

It's them that make that fact true, so yeah, have a go at them. I mean above all else HE'S A HUMAN BEING.

He was always going to struggle to get the fans on side, but now Bruce is available they'll want Rafa out sharpish, before any of the big clubs snap him up.

You could be right. I guess it depends upon which direction the NUFC vs the world campaign takes. -
I disagree. Keegan started from the bottom of the old Div2, and did it with honour.
