I was more referring to the fact that we'll overlook anything to get rid of Ashley. It's not a criticism of the fans btw. It just demonstrates how shrewd they are. They most likely expected opposition fans to protest. And have utilised it to the benefit of their campaign.

All said and done, we have a pretty poor set of players to choose from, and every point will be hard earned between now and January. No doubt in my mind that Bruce would have lost this by 2 or 3 goals, so I'm happy with Jones' contribution. I think he had a gameplan that could have won it, and that's more than we've seen recently.

If you don't know them by now, they simply can't afford to buy stars. Every time they go away they struggle to do the right thing.

Gameplan has been pretty much spot on, tbf. make the subs two minutes earlier, or if mr dependable hadn't failed to show, this would be a different game.

Pulling it back from a goal down might be a bigger lift than taking the lead.

ASM has let down Jones in that first half. He has inherited a team that have been instructed in one tactic, get it to ASM. It has served us well in attack, and there was no real demand to focus on changing that. But he has been lethargic and unfocussed and has at least twice cost us the opportunity to take a lead that might have relaxed the players.

Not really because we have changed, pretty much overnight. Still plenty of work to be done, but there is an intent, and intensity that was lacking.

Give it to ASM has provided two good counter attacking opportunities which ASM has fucked up. Harsh on the lad but he needs to get his head in place.
