PIF will learn the hard way the damage this summer has done. Relying on Howe won't last when the fans have now (in the majority) lost that spark of hope over summer. Without that, SJP isn't the fortress it can be and players confidence will suffer as a result. The club isn't United and i expect results on the pitch to suffer as a result.

I really don't get the move away from our previous recruitment style. It landed us Isak, Tonali, Bruno, Gordon, Botman etc. Its arguably much less of a gamble to keep going down this route as the afore-mentioned are established so the newly recruited players would be coming into a better team.

Agreed. Obviously only if we knew he wanted the move. I have about 3% confidence in the club after this summer tbh. The last 4 windows inclusive of this one have been a shambles.

If we're gonna sell Isak (looking likely) we need to be looking at agreements such as letting us have the free run at Guehi (if we do really want him) as well as getting max value possible for Isak.

We can't go into a CL campaign with Osula / Neave as our only 2 strikers. That's so far beyond inadequate. A Championship side would feel weak with those 2 and i'm not exaggerating.

We must still be waiting for the end of June PSR deadline, once its July things will really heat up..
