2-0 win. Rondon double. -
https://www.nufc.co.uk/media/37271/fans-forum-minutes-23-february-2017.pdf Stadium wi-fi CE asked if the club was considering introducing stadium-wide wi-fi for supporters. NA confirmed the club is continuing to look into options but advised it is a significant infrastructure project which requires a complex solution. ER stated that significant investments had already been made in boosting phone signal at the stadium but this was continued to be tested by the demands of 50,000+ crowds each matchday. LM explained that the club will continue to enhance the content across its PA system, screen and digital platforms in order to give supporters the essential in-stadia information they require.

Have you reported it? Yes, you shouldn't have to, but if you do and nothing is done, it strengthens the case that things aren't being maintained to a satisfactory level. Agree with the 4G, that's a pain in the a*se. I know we go for the match, not to be staring at our phones, but being able to get the other scores would be nice. I believe it was brought up at the fans forum in the past, can't remember what the response was though.

Let's hope they make a better fist of it than the absolute shambles that took place in the FA Cup last season.

12th October. Or thereabouts.

Can't play the next game (v Chelsea) anyway. Would have been interesting to see if that game would have counted for any ban. Won't get to find out thankfully.

We have opted on Tuesdays a few times, a couple of years ago we even played our League Cup games on a Tuesday and Sunderland played theirs on a Wednesday, which is unusual when both teams have a game in midweek. I don’t think the rule is as strictly applied as it once was. For league games we're always on a Wednesday. Just wondering if it may change if one of our midweek games, like Man City at home in January, is picked for TV. Aye it could theoretically change (to the Tuesday) if it was picked for TV like. That said, I suspect they (BT I think it is who have the midweek package) would just pick one game from those scheduled on the Tuesday and one game from those scheduled on the Wednesday, and they'd be no need for anything to be moved. I suppose what might change that is if say Man City and Liverpool were both playing amazing football at the top of the league and they were desperate to show both of their games, one would have to be moved to the Tuesday. All-in-all I reckon it staying on the Wednesday a pretty safe bet.

I don't think she was an agent whilst she was at Sunderland mind. Although that's not to say she didn't have things in the pipeline before she left....

I can see a flaw in your plan....

Includes bonuses and £30m of wages we're writing off from players who will never play for us again. Hence it's bullshit accounting. Various fans with professional accountancy qualifications have analysed the accounts for these instances of 'creative accounting'. The BBC and others just quoted the £112m as fact without questioning it. That's what the fans are dealing with when we take on Mike Ashley. We're on our own. Don't expect any help from journalists. Most of them are happy to print what they are spoon fed. Not that it really matters but my mate noticed that the chart that showed the wages to turnover ratio had a footnote that stated that Brighton and Huddersfield’s figures included bonus payments for promotion, but didn’t say anything about Newcastle. So he tweeted one of the reporters to question it. The reporter replied saying it was an ‘oversight’ and he would get it amended, which, fair play, he did pretty sharpish, but it doesn’t help dissuade any conspiracy theories around Ashley’s crew and media spin....

Based on 16/17, when we were in the Championship, so probably.

A win at Cardiff and you can pretty much guarantee Chelsea on a bank holiday Sunday will be.

I don't think getting a few hundred fans to give up travelling and taking out £50 a month subscriptions instead is high on the objectives list for a company that shelled out £3.759bn in the last set of PL TV rights...

I'd imagine they'd probably get round it via: Exceptions to the rules Premium rate numbers are still allowed for sales lines and pre-sales enquiries. However, the cost of calling such numbers must be clearly advertised wherever they are published. Paid-for services that aren't part of an existing contract – such as technical helplines or information lines – are still allowed to use premium rate numbers.
-
Where does it say that? Can't see anything on the official PL site, which is normally the best for highlighting potential ludicrous scenarios such as that. Edit - the Burnley game potentially being moved I mean.

Unfortunately you'll always have people/fans who will have swallowed his bullshit and think he's saved the club, sadly for them they'll never see the reality. Lot of good points being made but the amount of sheep within our support right now is just sad to be honest. I give up after over 40 year of being a season ticket holder because I was not going to have that fat cunt taking the piss out of me and the club a moment longer. My view if I can do it after the years of support I gave then anyone can. Twenty year ago something would have been done but not a chance nowadays. The club is at its worst stage since the McKeag days and even then he had an excuse not being loaded. Now this fat cunt is taking the piss out of the manager, the players and the support whist laughing his cock off and decimating the club. But will we see the support unite and really make the point hard, to the point and at every level- not a hope in hell. Everyone is making fantastic points and suggesting great things to get rid of him. You just know though as has been said, a hardcore will just think Ashley is right, as mental as that seems despite all the evidence to the contrary staring them in the face. I very much doubt there are many, if any, that think Ashley is in any way "right". Plenty will still attend/support, but they are doing in spite of Ashley, rather than in support of him.

Said this for a while mate - it desperately needs a clean up but as you say, you just have to look at his sports hops to see how cares about how things look - fat wanker! The live picks for November are due out this week, aren't they? Tomorrow mate. October and November. Cheers pal! Speaking of away matches - on the new ticket website, you can't change what ticket you buy as it is set via the DOB - in the past, you could use a friend and family member and buy say a kids ticket off their number but now you can't. You can't change the delivery address of a ticket either, can you?

Are we definitely getting new ones?

He didn't take the hint when all hell let loose after Keegan left.....

When was the last time (in this country anyway) any owner of a reasonably sized club, let's say the top two divisions, was 'hounded out'? It doesn't happen. Our fanbase is no different to anywhere else, in terms of being more or less proactive. You've had Glazer's making enourmous profit from Man Utd, Venky's relegating Blackburn to League One, Tan changing the strip and (attempting) name at Cardiff, all the crazies at Leeds. Nobody gets 'hounded out'.
-
How many times over could you buy Sunderland for the price of one Harry Kane?
-
Reminds me of Joselu’s in the open training session last pre-season.....
-
Wonder if they stop the Championship as well? You would think they’ll have to given they stop it for international breaks now. Good luck fitting 46 games in...
-
Gonna be canny chilly in Times Square.....

Be surprised if many of them are playing tbh. Lloris maybe. Looked like Trippier will be knackered for a while.
